Here are some tips on how you could create a similar effect using Groups, Selection Ordering, and the Circle tool. Had we been thinking we would have also flipped on the Groups toggle and never had to select our groups by name after they were initially created.

Is there a way (that I don't see) to rotate a circle without using straight paths? I supposed I could use FTL, but it seems like a big hassle/gamble to get that to turn out right.
