Actually, the dancers are wearing traditional leather boots instead of pointe shoes. This kind of toe dance is quite common in the Caucasus region. Thank you for your comment. Glad you like this dance.

Там нет никаких пуантов, танцор стоит на пальцах! Единственное подкладывают вату, чтобы пальцы в кровь не царапались о пол... Танцор стоит всем своим весом на пальцах и обратите внимание не просто на пальцах, а на высоких пальцах! Это архи больно и сложно, так как у тебя не должно дрогнуть не одной мышцы на лице! Говорю это как сам когда то исполняющий эту партию.

The oversized sleeve of the male pricipal dancer are like wings when he raise them up.like some birds they dance before their mates during the mating season spreading their wings showing their colorful plumage to impress the female.

Хорошо когда каждый Кавказский народ танцует свой танец. Сейчас начали воровать друг у друга. Самобытность теряется.напр У черкесов свой особый стиль, который вытекает из их благородного и рафинированного характера. 🤝
