I made a simliar version this yesterday, it was really good! I just added some herbs and more spices to the mix. I also just toasted it in melted butter instead of using egg since I dont eat it.

1) Mix 35g softened unsalted butter, 2tbsp light brown sugar and 1tsp cinnamon together to make the cinnamon butter. 2) Cut the crusts off 4 slices of thick bread and save them for later. 3) Spread the cinnamon butter over the top, then put the slices together to make 2 sandwiches. 4) Cut the sandwiches into batons, then cut the batons into squares. 5) Spread the leftover cinnamon butter over the crusts and roll them up to make mini cinnamon rolls. 6) Whisk together 1 large egg, 50ml milk and 1tsp vanilla, then dip the bites in the mix until fully covered. 7) Melt some butter in a pan, the put the bites in the pan and cook on a medium heat until golden on each side. 8) In a small bowl, mix together 2tbsp granulated sugar and 1tsp cinnamon until combined. 9) Coat the bites in the mix. 10) For the dip, mix together 10g softened unsalted butter, 30g softened cream cheese, and 20g icing sugar until smooth and creamy. 11) Serve fresh and warm. 12) Enjoy!
