Geez Desmond, I've never thought of myself OLD at 60 (a longhaired metalhead American/Latino), but you saw "Starship Troopers" there as a KID??? Wow! . . . I saw "2001: A Space Odyssey" there in 1969 :P. My Uncle was on leave from Vietnam, myself and Mom sat on the top row with hardly anyone there during the day. My Dad couldn't go because of his graveyard shift at "Langendorf Bakery". Saw MANY movies as an adult when Arclight opened it up again. I was shocked hearing that it was closed. Lots of CD's bought next door when Amoeba Music was there too (now on Hollywood Blvd. but haven't been there yet).

"Happier" news. Movies, yes. But dome closed. (Sad)

I saw *How the West Was Won* there in true Cinerama 20 years ago. It was an incredible experience. Hopefully it will be open again someday.
