I think we can use the transparent node to bring up the real text layout after the text particles combines together. best for logo animation thank you sir.

trying to split and object but there are major gaps in the parts that it splits into. It only has a basic shape of the object and I have tried multiple settings to get this to work and it simply does not fracture the way it works on this video.

when i did this while rendering, one frames i saw the object passing through the other. Is there a way to add collision in the geometrynode setup!!!

once done with the render is there way to change the text to a different one than title coz i came up with a cool animation and dont want to redo the steps again and again, if you could tell me how to go about changing the title or even if its possible to, that would be great! Love the work!

Does the cell fracture still work in 4.0? Because it seems any object i fracture ends up like a rectangle in 4.0

4:24 As soon as i add the fractures node to the group output the now floats above the cursor and origin exactly 5800m up the z axis, the only thing that helps is putting the collectioon node on Relative but when i do that and i do the step when we rotate the text the letters each spin individually, why? please help me.

so yeah in compositing while applying the glare node my particles are glowing instead of the text not sure why this is happening. I followed all the steps exactly, do help, thanks!!

That’s because the emission materials on the particles is brighter than the emission on the text. Play around with the strength of each until you get what you want.

what if you don't have distribute in volume only distribute on faces

at 6.04 mins the particles overlap while rotating!!! how to handle???

Good tutorial but hard to follow while working (eyes on another screen) when you refer to every other input as "these guys" and i have to look and go full screen to see what you're reffering to

For some reasons blender freezes after I hit ok in cell fracture options. My CPU and Memory goes full and laptop starts beeping. And that doesnt sound very good.

Maybe use a transparent material and fade the original text on top of all of the broken pieces

@@TheDucky3D Yeah i was thinking about just rendering the final states of the logo with some glowing through compositing and then also rending this animation with it broken and assembling. Then just merge the two in premier after the fact! I'm making a lil plex intro logo for my files to play in the beginning. Would love to see a video in the future of you making a 3D animations or objects and then finding a use case for a what you made and how you would integrate your work online. You could start a whole new series on "How to Use 3D Assets Online"

Let me start, as a newbie to b3D, I value and love your channel! … but. Again remember the newbie part….😊 You move a tad bit too fast and “assume “ a bit too much. That might be acceptable for more advanced users, but is a bit frustrating for those of us who do not have memorized whether it is shift left or right click across a node connection… Also your mouse click are fast … what would really help is if you used on screen display of your mouse and kb shortcuts and what really helps is to have cursor highlighting…. I know your software can do it, because I make corporate educational videos …. Hope this didn’t come across as being a sob. 😇

Edit the value that makes the child parts explode to 0 and it will return to default broken text 👍

If you have added keyframes then return to frame 1 in the timeline.

actually, I deleted the "Text" layer that's before the "cell" layers and that worked

maybe you need to delete the original text. if you simply hide it, it will still be displayed in the render along with the mesh

You might need to check on the material tab in settings that blend mode is alpha blend and shadow mode as alpha hashed along with ss refraction enabled.The trick with glass is the transmission slider on the principled bsdf.

Glitching all the way through. It looks fine when i play it on the timeline, but when i render frames some of the cells appear random and flicker around. I caught it when i test rendered frame 250 and i saw immediately the same frame 250 renders differently every time i hit F12. I can see other people in the comments has the same problem. Maybe we are doing something wrong... hmm...?! I though maybe it was the random nodes, so i unplugged them, but that didn't help. I tried Blender 3.6 and 4.1.1 with the same result. Besides that, i always love to do your tutorials. I learned a lot still, even if i could not make it work this time.

I start Blender and i load the blend file... first time i hit F12 it renders frame 250 perfectly... all cells are together. If i then hit F12 again the cells has not yet settled. I tried to use the bake node but it makes no difference.

U really pissed me off. You move to fast I and don’t explain how steps thouroighly. Waiste of time
