Red squirrels are incredibly agile and acrobatic. Watch as they leap effortlessly from branch to branch, using their tails for balance. They are solitary creatures, known for their secretive nature. In the autumn, they busily gather and bury nuts, a behaviour called "caching," to ensure they have enough food to survive the winter months.
This is filmed in a location within Cumbria - well known to locals - not given, not to be killjoy but because its being overrun with inconsiderate photographers who are leaving rubbish and treating it badly.
