Top quality instruction:No ego, no assumptions, no bull. All of these programmes are tools at the end of the day, this video teaches a good workflow to start working with colour and tone in a non - destructive and measured way. It is genuinely informative and takes things back to basics. Thanks very much.
Appreciate that you made this video in 10 minutes yet you made it so simple to understand. Thank you!
Color grading has always been a rabbit hole of an experience for me. Too easy to spend hours obsessing over it with a fear of a point of no return. This video helps a lot

Hi, very helpful. Thanks! @7:50 how did you know which wheel to choose from the four? I'm guessing since it's the background (ie darker) you chose the shadows wheel? Are skins always midtowns wheel?

thanks man
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! 🙏🏽 New Subbie here!!!! ⭐️
Great video! I'm noticing that when I copy and paste effects, the color mask is getting all sorts of wonky on the pasted clip. Did you experience that as well? I used two identical clips just to test it out.

Double check the order of effects. That's all I can think of.
class vid
thanks
is there any third-party plug in there to support one-click color and exposure correction? something like the Lightroom auto mode?
Hi great video, question I am trying to isolate the subject skin tones from the background, mask I am following the directions in your video but when I try to color the background my subject also are changing color with the background? When I invert my background my color is still effecting my subject, What I am doing wrong?

Good video. Can i use S-Log using 1dx mark 2? i heard something about its being 8bit so it's not a good idea. What do you think?
Sorry - an extreme noob question - how do you get the various color scopes/graphs etc. to show in the browser window?
When I am in final cut, the area to the left of my video where you see the levels of color from -20 to 120 - it's not there. How can I access this?
I use the C200. I have a question. I made my library into a normal rec 709 library instead of a WIDE DR library because I noticed that when I upload to youtube it would distort the quality of the wide dr videos. Thoughts on this? Am I missing something?
Hi, Thanks for the video. What is the library color setting? I saw you used Rec.2020 instead of Standard
