Love how Cindi let Grace shine

That takes a lot of courage for someone so young to sing with someone so big. It was so nice of Cyndi to do this. Cyndi was always my favorite.

please give cindi lauper some credit for helping to make this happen. even grace with all of her humbleness probably doesnt realze what a big deal this could be for her.

Oh, I think Grace knows. She is very appreciative to the talented people who have embraced her. She knows how big Cindi Lauper is and she knows what a great pairing this was. Grace is SMART. That is why she is where she is today.

I was driving to work in 1983 and heard "Time After Time". I went to the Mall's music store afterwards and had to ask a few people before someone went in the back and opened a box filled with "She's So Unusual". I'm in NY and she's a NY'r and I had the first album in Nassau County? Great moment. Awesome album....Amazing duet by the way. Young Grace is a future superstar. Tons of people can sing, very few can write, even fewer can write AND sing. Stevie Nicks, Carole King, Taylor Swift and how many more? Not many.

Gotta admire12 year old Grace with the wherewithal to absolutely belong on that stage with the great Cindi... a Beautiful Thing to behold!

This performance is made of pure magical perfection! Grace was only 12 years old when this happened! MIND BOGGLING!

Grace is the only one who has the ability and the best of all of the qualities that our lives have been in such a need to be able and understand what we all hope been needing to soo many years and that's the healings of our souls in such a profound way she has been sent to be our greatest gift from our God for he is the one who has the ability to do that with this precious young lady who has the ability to make sure that we all get the chance to become a better society than we have ever been jojo Ps. I never thought Grace's vocal style would mix with anyone else, but put the two quirkiest voices on the planet together and boy did that sound good. Grace is an alto version of Cyndi, or vice versa.

Je trouve génial que Cyndi ait choisi Grace pour chanter ensemble "True Colors" (une de mes chansons préférées dès sa sortie). Grace est étonnante pour une fille de 12 ans (jouer très bien du ukulele en très peu de temps et chanter comme les plus grands)

Am binging on Grace, old and new. Never cease to be amazed by Grace at any point. Was there anything this fearless 12 year old wouldn't take on? About 7 months before she hadn't performed anywhere but a coffee shop. I don't think she'd ever learned to harmonize before this Lauper performance. Was so new to the song she needed the sheet music in front of her - but nailed the notes, the art of it.

I believe didn't need lessons in harmonizing. She was born with these abilities and qualities, she does it with Jasom Marz, at the special Olympics. Grace is what parents want in a child, a humbled prodigy that's a genius!

12 years old and harmonizing perfectly, REALLY? how on earth can this little girl be so amazinly talented and intelligent, she has to be from a genius planet!!!!, people shes 12 years old???? Can you imagine her at 25, 30, another Motzart, Dylan, Joni, Carol, Linda, all rolled up in one!

No offense but... Grace would sound better without Cyndi... somehow her voice just really works with those hippie anthems like this and what she did with Clearly aka The Claritin Song... she's bringing back 70's/80's flowerchild stuff for this generation. Fascinating.

I think the crap you speak of is lodged deeply in your ears my friend. Listen to quality recordings of any of Grace's songs and you will find her there. It's all Grace to me and she just continues to improve and explore. Grace has yet to produce a song that I skip over, and almost all are masterpieces in their own right. Listen to "Darkness Keeps Chasing Me" or "Poser" or I Don't Like You" or... Just pick a quality recording and listen. Seriously listen to her. Grace just keeps getting better.
