You are so talented at what you do I wish I could be as talented As you are
Thank you for sharing the details of construction. Brilliant!
Hello this is fantastic but please can you tell me how you fasten off the fishing lines once they are threaded through the loops so that they stay in place until they are pulled? Thank you
I just finished costuming a production of Cinderella and your video was INCREDIBLY helpful! Thank you so much!!!!
Very clever! Thank you for showing how you did this.
Thank you so much for sharing the intricacies of the reveal…It was much like I imagined…but now I can stop stressing over if I’m doing it right. Thank you, thank you.
I've never seen Cinderella performed on stage-- are their two dress transformations in each show? Thank you for this video, it's really helping break down how these dresses are put together. Using the underside of the second ball gown as a petticoat is brilliant.
This was so fascinating to watch!!
Thank you so much for sharing this! It was SUPER HELPFUL!
tysm this is the best transformation dress video I could find
So the fishing line winds through and the end of it just hangs there? Doesn't that want to work its way out when the actress moves around in the dress?

simply amazing
Well done!
Thank you! I am costuming Cinderella for a theater camp this summer and this video is so helpful. How did you transform the Fairy Godmother from the Hag? DO you have pattern numbers for the dresses that you made?
Hello I am wondering if you can lend our theatre the rags to ballgown as we are doing a production of into the woods and the director would like to have a onstage transformation
Bellissimo!
Molto interessante, grazie!
I would love to know the pattern maker? I really like this Corset

Could you share the pattern used for the corset?
So cool
You are a genius madam, please can you do more tutorials for intricate costumes for stage thank you maam
Has anyone else done this bodice and figured out what to do with the ends at the shoulders? I’m prepping to do this costume for a show this fall, and am trying to figure out how to fix the ends so the sides don’t unravel too soon. Thanks!

Just leave the ends long. They won’t be seen. There’s enough tension that it won’t pull apart if she doesn’t move around too much. This worked for us, but you could also try crocheting the line instead of just feeding it through the loops.

Thank you!!
I need some help. I’m making a dress like this, but my clear line doesn’t have enough friction in it to hold the bodice together. When I put the bodice on, the panels just kinda pull apart and you can see what I’m wearing under. I changed it to grosgrain ribbon, which helped a lot, but I still have this problem with the shoulder seams. Any thoughts? I can’t exactly tie the ribbon because I’ll need to pull it out.

I’ve seen it done where the line is crocheted through the loops instead of just woven through. Maybe try that?

@@Shannonsheridan oh, that is a good idea!!! What I have done for now is just taken the ribbons at the shoulders and just threaded it back through a couple loops. It’s kinda better, but not the best, so I think I might try the crochet technique. Thank you!!!

did you figure it out? I am about to embark on this project and worry about the fishing line thing and it not staying. I wonder if the loops are really tight somehow and that helps???
