okay this is interesting Cinderella wants to be a businesswoman its different and I like how it's not the typical marry to get a better life falling in love after meeting once kinda script.. looking forward to seeing a different kind of Cinderella.

Personally I don’t see the point in tampering with a classic story like Cinderella to make it woke and bring it to the 21st century. If they wanted to make a film about an empowered woman who can do what she wants in her own, then why not make a different film instead of messing with a story that didn’t need to be touched

I like that idea! In the og story her father was a merchant and could provide for himself and his family so it makes perfect sense that Ella would seek to become independent as well. Especially considering how she is not only capable of running a home but would have some insight as to the merchant buisness. I hope that she does recognize her feelings for the prince but in the end decides to remain unmarried and to pursue her dreams.

@Morgana Ilmirak True but it’s a usually pushed that a woman must be married and have kids to be happy. Motherhood and marriage is entirely optional and even with a supportive spouse, it can be strenuous on all parties involved. There’s the endless guilt of leaving for months/years at a time for the buisness. And then there is the pain and loneliness of not seeing each other for a long time. Plus it’s shown that more women are unhappy being parents/married. 👀 The reasons are obvious.

I mean I respect that they're trying to portray that she wants a career and doesn't care so much about the romance aspect. But to be fair if you're gonna make a movie about cinderella just stick to how the story line works, not completely tamper with it, if thats the case make a separate movie thats not involved with the whole cinderella aspect, it would make more sense in that way. at least in my opinion

FUN FACT: Camila Cabello actually wrote a song called "Cinderella" when she was younger and the lyrics go "Cinderella never asked for a prince, no.." And now she's the new Cinderella with the similar concept. OMG. She keeps winning 🥰😭

Ok….I think this gives “Cinderella” a new meaning that some people didn’t see in the original and other representations of her. Cinderella wasn’t just waiting for a handsome stranger…she had the dream of love… and the dream as “Ella” of a life of her own, but she didn’t know how to achieve so she got a little help form her god mother and in the end she fulfilled also her true love dream ♥️

In my little five year old little kid heart also sharing my now 16 year old heart Cinderella will always have and always will have that special place, not only do to fabulous heels and dresses, no, because what the original Cinderella represente, you just gotta look deeper than only see the dreamy girl that met a prince and see how she got a dream of her own and she worked for it.

This looks damn good. At first glance I was like “oh great another Cinderella movie….” But after watching the trailer, I am very impressed and I am stoked to watch this movie! I love how Camellia looks sooo much like Selena, it’s insane!

It has the special effects, soundtrack, cast, costume and make up, and plot twist necessary to make it a good movie. A version in which Cinderella doesn't wanna get married but the step mother does??? Okay! Let's see how it goes.

Sony outdid themselves with this version of Cinderella. Based on that 30 sec trailer, everything is amazing. The costumes, sets, songs, choreography and of course Camila Cabello is incredible. She carried that trailer like a big shining star! Not only does Camila is so pretty in the teaser but Billy Porter looks incredible & glowing in that role I'm here for Billy Porter as the Fairy Godmother! 🖤🖤🖤❣❣

I tried to hate this trailer. But couldn’t?! Two of my favorite actors are in it, Cinderella isn’t looking for someone to rescue her because she’s gonna do it herself, and it also looks like she’s gonna go to the ball to get some big clientele. Which I really love. She saw an opportunity and she’s not letting it go. Also the costumes, and music. With this it does seem like more songs are added. However this looks like it’ll add to the story without being a big distraction.
