Tom Keifer and Lita Ford are two rare musicians who can sing beautifully and play a rockin guitar at the same time. Not easy at all. Some sing then play but Tom is so deep in that fabled zone it's inspiring.

Sorry, but you don't play metal on fenders and les pauls. Cinderella were a bluesy hard rock band so ofcourse they could get away with playing the oldschool instruments - but if we're talking speed metal [which peaked in popularity in the 80s], you would straight up look goofy trying to play it on a fender like the one Tom is playing here. I think only Iron Maiden play metal on old school guitars - everyone else is "pointy".

Imagine being able to bring back a 20 something from today and have them hang out with us for a week? Three thoughts....First, if you did not live during this time, you have no idea the impact that this festival had. Look at how happy those people in the crowd are. Hatred and rivalries were forgotten, replaced by peace and rock 'n roll. Second, I saw Cinderella live 4 times, by far the tightest band I have ever seen. Having had a short career playing in two bands when I was in school, trust me, they were truly an incredible band live. Finally, God rest your soul Jeff Labar! We are devastated, and you are missed more than you could ever know.

Saw them about 2 months before this show in Kansas. BulletBoys and Winger opened for them. Fantastic show, all 3 bands jammed 3 songs out at the end of the concert. Sweet Home Alabama, Rock n Roll (LZ) and Rock and Roll All Nite. Simply the best jam I've ever heard, 3 bass, 9 guitars, 3 drummers and 20 vocalists. I need a time machine, Calgon, take me away.

I think Cinderella would have been bigger if they had not done all this Hair Metal poser stuff. Yes, it was hip at the time, so they did it. But unlike other Hair bands they could actually really play. However, the Hard Rock and Metal scenes never took Cinderella seriously because of their image. When the Hair Metal trend ended, Cinderella went down with the other Hair bands. They could have survived If they were accepted in the Hard Rock world, but their image prevented that. Another proof that following fashion never pays off in the long run.
