😂😂 Li yu is hilarious

This Drama was the one that got me interested in Chinese Historical Dramas, and yet I can never seem to keep from coming back. Ying Luo and her mischievous crafty ways to work situations to her favor never fails to impress and entertain. This show was my first, but it will always have a close spot to my heart.

No I disagree, Fuheng was Wei Lingluo’s first young love, but that idealistic love was shattered the moment Fuheng married Erqing, it was never the same after. People that Stan them just ignore that this series was set over a 20 year period, they concentrate on the beginning with Fuheng but dismiss the middle & end with the Emperor. Wei Lingluo grew up, matured & fell in love with the Emperor later on, eventually having 3 children together. The ten years later showed that deep love between them. For me the Emperor & Wei Lingluo’s relationship was by far the most dynamic & exciting to watch of the whole series, an equal match. Whereas Fuheng was a bit too insipid, & looked like a little boy in comparison to the Emperor but I guess that’s why he’s popular with teenage girls.

@@bellabana I agree on your comment re. the love between emperor & Yunglo. *Still, emperor has a harem (marry dozens of women) while Fuheng's seemed to be immature to love Yunglo alone. *Fuheng is a general, one virtuous love is enough for him since the battlefield is his life/passion. *Love goes beyond romances & marriage (eg. Love between empress & Yunglo). 🙂

I like the camera angles and the acting when the Emperor breaks the tea cup. The cup smashing when his face is still visible. Every time, save one, when the Emperor breaks a tea cup, is because of Ling Pin.

I don't know about the west but most of other places it was like this in the old days. No one ever married for love, most marriages were arranged by parents ( but mostly family friends) so they weren't totally strangers. Also dramas: Love by hipnotic, Oh my general, General and I, Ten Miles of Peach Blossom, Ashes of love. These are all good dramas with happy ending. I just finished yesterday drama Love by hipnotic. It premiered two last episodes yesterday. It was such a FANTASTIC DRAMA!! I totally recommend!! It was so hilarious 😂😂 there was also some tragedy at the end but it all went well for main leads.
