The Cimmaron River begins at the foot of the Eagle Nest Lake Dam. 2-1/2 miles of privately own land along the river make this quality trout stream an angler's best kept secret. Catch and release only. Stay in renovated cabins or in the main dam house built for workers when constructing the dam in 1907.

I actually just stayed at those cabins and went fly fishing on the river. It is runoff that feeds that stream.

Pretty sure that cave was a diversion for the orig river/stream and filled when the dam was built
Wow dude... Its a tent they are in while fishing the lake.

It comes from eagle nest lake, it is private property
