He does an accent but the biggest difference is definitely how he lowers his voice! He did this to affect a tougher feeling

Definitely. It's a great show. I was totally invested in the characters after the very first episode. And if you find Cillian at all attractive you won't be disappointed seeing as he spends A LOT of time on screen, always looking impossibly beautiful.

Its part of the dominant gangster act, to end sentences lower than you started them, and it suits the Birmingham accent.

He gets more and more handsome as he gets older!!!!

I never cared for this guy in Batman, but then I saw Peaky Blinders and my opinion of him as an actor took a 180 degree turn.. GREAT series and fantastic cast all around

I finished season 4 10 minutes ago and I think it's safe to say that it definitely was 'the best yet'. Show keeps getting more brilliant with every season and now I simply can NOT wait for season 5.

Beautiful. I love that show and I have a really short attention span so don’t usually watch TV series. It’s a winner. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who has not watched it yet. Warning: you will undoubtedly develop an intense crush and slight obsession with this man.❤️

For the people taking a swing at Cillian Murphy, in my opionion, I think they’re over-analyzing him here. At most, the closest thing to the level of crap people said here that I could think of would be that he’s only a tad bit sensitive about his age. And hey, that’s something definitely relatable and nothing out of the ordinary. He seems like a pretty swell guy based on how he presents himself.
