I met cilla once in Salford outside the lowry hotel,she was an absolute darling to me and my mum,she made our day.

I booked Cilla a table once when she came too Bullring.. I didn't give her the choice of what name she used.. I gave her son's name :-) And she was totally lovely to me and my co workers..

Cilla was on about Kate Thornton if I recall correctly. Funny, because Cilla has done the exact same thing in the past numerous times aswell. Absolute hypocrite.

Cilla Black was allegedly a notorious airline passenger. She always flew first-class (I don't think she ever demanded a free upgrade, at least), and would insist on seat 1A. She also refused to speak directly to the staff, but would do it through her PA.

She ates that...

If any supercilious twerp asks that question: 'Do you know who I am?' I'd say 'Well, I'm sure the staff at the nursing home will!'

I also read on various forums that she is an utterly vile monster when the cameras stop rolling. The fake Scouse accent vanishes and she becomes so grand that she will only speak to certain people through an assistant. When she does speak to others, she usually treats them like dirt and has reduced many to tears with her nastiness. I can well believe it. My partner worked in the music business for many years and he has met people who did not have one good thing to say about her.

Funny you should say that about her accent... a close friend of my late nan used to live a few streets away from Cilla Black when they were kids, and she said the same thing - "She puts that accent on, y'know - she never talked like that when I knew her. Dead posh she was, lived in a big house and wouldn't play with the likes of us 'cos we weren't good enough for her."

I hate people who says I know who you are, when I have just gone Do you know who am I?

Yeah but my Mum's cousin dated a guy who knew her neighbour's auntie and she once met Cilla so I know the truth!
