Datatrya I have Only seen in mumbai. Datatreya tradition is avadoodta. Avdootha life is very tough. It is above the level of sanyasa. Sanyasi has to beg food or look for tha ashram maintenance for survival but Avdoota will not beg food and they don't care shelter. I think it will be very difficult for common people to follow avadooda. Oru marathiley ungiya chilla poley aanu avar. Bhoomiyil vasikkunnu ennu matram bhoomiyumayi bandamilla. They may be seen in trivandrum side very rarly. Avdooda tiruvallam amma was in trivandrum. She is said to be done laya sammadi. That is her deciple is saying she lifted to the sky and disappeared while they were in prayaga. He searched her on the banks of river but couldn't see. Even asianet chanel tried to interview her but she was not interested. They asked her where she come from then she replies" form Akash." Then she scolded them and they go away. But when we look avdootas, Nadandaji is different. When we look other avdootas they lead different type of life style it can not be followed by normal people.
