had a similar thing happen in my life. i was like 15 or 16 and my friend bummed a few newports off of someone skating around a spot where we'd usually go to smoke weed. got about halfway through one before nearly throwing up bc no nic tolerance and wasn't ready for the throat hit these had. kept me from smoking cigs until i turned 21 and tried a pack of camel reds. i liked the camels but they gave me insane cravings after smoking only one or two a day so when i was done with those i went and bought a pack of lucky strikes (filtered) bc they were much cheaper. finished that pack, bought another, smoked all but one of them and oddly didn't have cravings for any more after that even though i liked them. i just vape and smoke cigars now, and occasionally i'll smoke a blunt.

I like cigarettes and cigars not only for the flavors but also it forces me to slow down a little with my smoking, like you said, you can vape basically anywhere at anytime whereas cigarettes and cigars u gotta find a "smokers post" or just go outside. Edit: Lucky Strike Nonfilters are banging

My two favorite cigs are Camel 🐪 Non Filter ( The mini soft pack) its the original Camel blend . It's their highest grade of tobacco and smoothest ironically even without a filter its 100% worth a try ! And lucky strike non filters both are very high quality tobacco ...

I started smoking 20 years ago as a teenage, got addicted to cigarettes. Spent my whole life fighting Cigarettes addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later

I love George Karelia and sons pack, one of my favorites.

I remember being a kid in the 70s and Winston, Marlboro and Kool were the top brands. Other popular brands were Merit, Raleigh, Viceroy, Tareyton, Vantage, Benson & Hedges, Virginia Slims, and Carlton, and the popular menthols were Salem, Newport and Bel Air. Parliament, Camel, Pall Mall and Lucky Strike were in a slump. Camel bounced back in the 80s with Generation X. Less-popular brands were L&M, Lark, John Player Special, True and Dunhill. Old Gold, Picayune and Chesterfield were all but dead.

Hey max thanks for not trashing my former cigarette of choice, the 27s. Haven't smoked in a long time now though thankfully, had a similar quitting with a vape experience as you haha.

My favorite are the brown unfiltered american spirits cause they have the highest estimated nicotine content out of all the cigarettes sold in the US due to them being king size and also just the sheer amount of tobacco they stuff into them. The super dense filters completely ruin spirits for me. Makes them harsh and nasty and you can't get any smoke. Side note: Random stuff being added to cigarettes is actually a really common misconception. The act of combustion is what creates those 7000 different chemicals that you hear about. In truth, unless you have a flavored cigarette, there's really nothing besides tobacco and bleached paper in it. It's really strange how people forget that the FDA exists when they're talking about cigarettes as if these corporations don't have the government breathing down their necks and sampling all their goods.

Nah, American cigarettes have plenty of additives. A lot of the cheaper tobaccos are highly processed, especially menthols and lights, and most of them have accelerants added.

I absolutely relate to the nicotine addiction getting stronger after quitting cigarettes. For me it's zyns . Went from smoking 5-6 cigs a day to about half a pack of 6mg zyn a day which is over triple the nic intake. It's just so convenient though

turkish royals and american yellows were the goated cigs when i smoked for 8-9 years. for completely different reasons and appeals too. however my first cig was a camel crush bold when i was 15. 3 years off cigs now but i loved this video. i disagree with you about spirits but i respect your honesty about liking the chemical taste. same reason people think i'm weird for liking red bulls chemical taste. you're completely right about camel reds too. I remember Camel crush being the “go to” in high school because there was a local place that didn’t card and that’s all they stocked. In college when I started I first picked American spirits because I thought they were the “safe” bet. Orange pack then moved onto dark blue. He’s right, they last too long and you’re getting a dizzy headache. Ironically in my mid 20s Camel Crush became my primary. It has some bite going down compared to most lights that are basically like sucking air, menthol option is there if you want it, reasonably priced, good taste, just an overall good go to.

I don't smoke anymore really I'm on that Zyn pouch life, but the corner store a block down from sells Djarum Blacks at like $11 a pack (IN TENNESSEE) and I'll still pick up a pack once or twice a year as a treat. American Spirit Blacks were sublime cigarettes too.

Lucky Strike Non-Filters are my absolute favorite. I buy Camel nonfilters frequently because they're more available in my area, but they're more expensive and not quite as good (in my opinion). Either way, nonfilter Luckies or Camels are almost $20 per pack in my area!

Nat Sherman Classics is the best cigarette ever made we shall never see again. They were so delicious it slowed you down. Burned slow, smelled like no other cigarette, and was actually worth the price.

Marloboro , winston , and pall mall red. All good full flavor cigarettes were their own vibe.

I find it interesting how divisive American Spirits are, specifically on the point of 'they take too long to smoke'. I mostly smoke American Spirits and occasionally Camels, but last week I knew I was going to be chainsmoking outside to avoid interacting with my family on Christmas Eve so I bought a pack of Lucky Strikes and was immediately annoyed by how quickly I burned through them. Honestly, I think the best part of smoking a cigarette is having a moment away from the noise, so I like that American Spirits take more time. However, when smoking in a social situation, I tend to chain smoke without thinking which leads to sickness if I'm smoking American Spirit Blacks. In that case, Lucky Strikes and Camels all day bb.

Please someone explain to me the difference in the stripes on the boxes? I know silver means lights or something? I have an embarrassingly rough understanding of it and I need to learn about it for my new job because I sell them. I'm so nervous at the moment because customers ask for the brand they want and I don't know which box to give them right away.

Your comment about Pyramids was 100% spot on. But Camel Menthol Wides were always my goto S Tier all day every day when i was smoking.

Djarums are by far my favorite cigarette. The splash’s and bali hai’s are good. I’d smoke a pack a day. They seem to have a lot of nicotine in them as I usually only smoke half or 3/4 of one. They burn out ez so you can set them down and they’ll go out in like thirty seconds.

I'll smoke anything the only ones that stand out as an elevated experience are Orange Spirits and Camel no filter the $12 ones. For some reason orange Spirits have the slowest burn and most flavor.

Also lucky strike filtereds today are not what they were like pre 2010. Lucky Strike filtereds today are repackaged newport reds. The lucky strike filtereds pre 2010 were god mode delicious. It tasted and smelled like a freaking BBQ. I miss them so much.

The lime green spirits are even better than the black. Real tasty mellow menthol. They do take forever though.

I used to pack them if that’s what you mean. It compacts the tobacco and makes it a little bit tighter but overall no real differences

I used to do that because sometimes cigarettes will go out especially if you're talking to someone while smoking and compacting the tobacco would help keep it lit if you weren't actively dragging

Pacific Plaza gave me a hemp cig, wasn't terrible

Malboro reds are much different in blend on the softpacks with the blue stamp on the top. The cigarettes aren't even the same dimensions; hard packs sucked and I always hated having to smoke them when I wasn't at my places that ordered for me...

FYI- A lot of people do not know that you get less with 100's. 100's are the same length cigarettes' as your kings"your regular" length just with a longer filter. So your smoking the same cig with extra filter on it. so 100's don't last longer or have more tobacco.
