To be honest, I think it has something to do with genetics. My Granddad smoked for many years and he died of old age (not a smoking-related death -- he was 81); and my Dad has smoked for more than 40-years now and he shows no signs of cancer.

Genetics can show a predisposition, smoking can increase the risk. It depends very much on what you are smoking and how you smoke too. Cigars have even been shown to decrease cancer risks smoking as many as 3 a day. Pipe smoke and hand rolled cigarettes are likely similar because its just tobacco and no extra chemicals.

Me and my stoner friends all had these in the 60's. Once, between us, we had just enough "tobacco" to roll one smoke. We all gave the few bits we had to a wasted friend. The idiot didn't lick the adhesive and when he closed it, the entire contents popped into the air like a ticket-tape parade.

Guys for you londoners in the U.K, if you pop down to Camden town and visit one of those typical turkish/asian shop places, and ask for a cigarette rolling tin, they normally charge £7, but try and bargain it down to £3-£4, these are amazing quality things and work really well

When you put the tobacco and the cotton in there you are creating a cilinder on wich the paper is able to roll, you can see at 0:16 theres some fabric at the right side of that tobacco, well, under that fabric theres a little metal stick, while you close the box that stick moves forward making the fabric and all the cigarrete to spin in the same direction, that movement rolls the cigarrete which goes through the hole in the top of the box. *Flies away*

The machine is not airtight. It will make the tobacco dry faster and become plain, especially flavoured tobacco

if you adjust the rolling sheet by sliding the clamp off and sliding it back on "tighter" it will give you a tighter roll.

Genuinely easier to roll it by hand

You put that word FINE in there bruh, their useless & not even good to use even just as A TIN! the small ribbon rollers a LOT BETTER at least you’ve a choice on how thick / Thin / Tight. Or loose they are. These things make CIGARS when on the odd occasion that one actually STICKS!

Has anyone tried it with more tobacco than this video? I assume if you'd place more tobacco, in a way that it gets higher in diameter at the tip of the cigarette (exceeding the filter's diameter), it would not roll properly. Therefore, am skeptical to buy one. Would appreciate some advice

Big learning curve with this thing. Too much and it wont draw, too little and itll be loose. Also, dont get the cheapest papers for $1 because the glue wont hold.
