Feeling heavy will make you feel uncomfortable, you have to breath harder, walk slower..also if you have small frame..a lot of weight will definitely affect you, especially if you had a small frame throughout your 20s or ,30s. I understand where she's coming from.

She isn't at a weight where those things should be an issue though.

I get what Sherri is saying, but she may not feel good. It's about how she feels as a person. She wants to be able to perform at her level.

Thick is considered as good in our community and a different tax bracket,this weight thing is a crisis,I helped someone lose 200 it is mental.

Ciara was never one to do whatever the celebrities were doing to snap back in 2 weeks after having a baby. She always did it naturally. It may be taking her a little longer to do it this time but I don’t doubt she’ll get there. She’s beautiful with or without the weight. So glad she’s not succumbing to the O craze.

With aging and it being kid #4, I totally understand 💯 It actually makes me appreciate CiCi more bc Lord knows Ozempic and Surgeries are definitely within reach for her

Exactly!!! She was born naturally thin. It would be different if she was a former fat girl, so it shouldn't be that hard for her to lose when she can hire a personal chef and afford a personal trainer.

Applause to every single word that was said. I'm a recent Mom of a 3 month old baby (my 1st) and I understand every woman that feels pressure to lose weight. I felt it too and I was trying to exercise almost every day, but when you don't have enough sleep, soon you realise it's unrealistic to put yourself under so much pressure. I have chosen to sleep more and exercise less and I'm so happy I took that decision, because I have more energy for my baby. I want my pre-pregnancy body back, but f*@# k the pressure of being fit after giving birth. I don't know why we women to that! Until we stop breastfeeding, doesn't make sense to put pressure to lose weight. And Ciara is gorgeous no matter what! I actually admired the fact that she embraced her postpartum body on the red carpet. More celebrities should do it and show that the postpartum body is beautiful and should be celebrated.

Ciara is a gorgeous woman, no matter her size, but having weight on your body is hard on you as well. She is an entertainer and an order for her to remain healthy in her chosen field. She would need to lose some weight.

Yes, breastfeeding helps with weight loss,especially if she eating extremely healthy, but I doubt that because, of what we've been taught, among other things

Time patience, this is going to be her biggest hurdle, to lose and maintain, most people will never accomplish.

I must say Sherri looking good. If she can stop being thirsty she will be good.

I think after a cool 30 lb weight loss she’d look fine. Mama is grown and thick now

I think it has more to do with the fitness necessary to keep up on tour. The extra may decrease her endurance level a bit.

I know we glorify the backside but 70lbs of weight gain is future health problems in the making. Ciara has the right goal to lose the weight, she has always been foremost healthy and fit.

70 pounds overweight that could double, easily, with the stress and not eating properly, every occasion is celebrated with food.

I don't know anyone who waited a year to lose baby weight.

She will dance that weight off

She will call Oprah and when we see her again she will be 100 pounds less.

70lbs of extra weight is not healthy. Stop confusing thick for healthy. Some women are naturally curvy and that is wonderful, but Ciara had an athletic build and she performs and tours for a living. Her knees and heart will give out. When she is constantly injured or out of shape she can't insured for touring.

70 seems like to much but she is naturally slim.. I don't think she should have even said anything

My mom looked like that after having babies. Ciara was like that after having Win. If it's fillers then she'd always look like that. Men say the dumbest stuff. You have no idea what having kids does to you. I gained 60 pounds and my whole shape changed. If you don't have proof you really should stop slandering people. Just because you don't see it happening doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

When you gain weight it's not going to curve you in one area. Curve and tone you in one area. With all the fat transfusions, non surgical bbl's, face fillers, access to money going on. Lisa please!! Beyonce did the same thing after those twins. Now Lisa, I bet your momma already had, a butt, hips, or let's just say the body part that enhanced her fineness, naturally after she had her baby. But go back and look at some of Ciara days when she had no butt, a bigger butt, a regular butt especially within the last 4 years. You can see the different enhancement everytime. Especially that last good video she did on her last album, that's an example of a Cici what did you do to your booty.

Go look at Ciara jump video, perfect example of what I mean when I say some enhancements were done. In this particular video, she is giving, regular size frame with big booty. It's as if, she or somebody said girl you got to get the legs to match that but. Again, celebrities with money. She looks beautiful either way, small legs with big butt as well as big butt with big legs. I know some of that thickness can be baby weight, I am not disagreeing with that part, but like I said as far as that curved, toned, big butt part that's the only part I am speaking on.

I have two friends who didn't have pronounced curves prior to their pregnancies, but now have hips and butts.
