I didn't get that from this song. Only in the west women thing like that and are the most unhappy. She is married with kids despite her being a single mom. It was like a Disney Fairytale. My wife, a black woman, had no kids when I met her, sing in the church, no daddy issues and dress respectable. She enjoys me being the head of our house. Fix the trauma is my best advice. I love this song…. A lot of y’all are weird ….she isn’t promoting being single, she is promoting self love and self confidence as a woman. Essentially telling women be happy and be confident within yourself and know how to stand ten toes down on her own. AS ANY ADULT SHOULD DO. A lot of women & men depend on men/women to take care of them and don’t know how to stand ten toes down or busy watching the reality shows that glorify being taken care of. You shouldn’t NEED anyone else to complete you. you should be complete within yourself. A person should know how to take care of themselves as an ADULT aka independent. And not be depending on someone else to take care of them. It looks like a modern day "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" but a much bigger budget! I love the baggie jeans and the bikini top over a t shirt. I feel like all the girls represent Ciara Herself really so I am feeling "I'm Every Woman" vibes especially seeing my favorite foods including pizza, ice cream, Oreo cookies, cheese burgers...
