The first time I was touched by this kind of tragedy, I was still in grade school. How could a child in 4th grade think that life was so bad? Then as a teen, and again as an adult. It sucks. But I learned so much each time. I pray this song encourages people to get help. If you don't know where to go, go to a hospital, a place of worship, even a police station. Maybe even a clinic. Just get help. Body chemistry is a weird thing. No one has all of the answers, but help is there.

I lost my cousin 8 years ago, he was my best friend. I just wish I could’ve talked to him, to change his mind. I’ve never had a song hit as hard as this one did.

I understand you my bestfriend was also suffering and she didn't told us anything she even thought of committing suicide when she told us I was so sad. this song saved my life and still is saving me. i was and am going through so much in my life my whole life. my dad died in 2019 and i never got to say goodbye, i blamed myself for not saying what i needed to say and felt like no one was there for me or understood. thank you for making a song like this, it resonates with me personally.

I empathize and understand where you are coming from, having lost both parents I spent so much time ignoring them and fighting with them that is only now when they are gone that I am filled with regret for my actions. I just hope and pray they knew how deeply I loved them underneath all my petulance

My daughter is feeling this crushing pain right now. Her friend lived in Colorado and they kept in touch playing games all night long, when he stopped responding to her texts and calls, and she just knew something bad had happened, and she googled his name and found his obituary. He had passed away three weeks before. And no one had called her so now she has no closure. She can't even go visit his grave because he was cremated. 😢
