Love the music and the images chosen for songs reminds me of scarfolk and the 70's somewhat perverse nostalgia..

That breakbeat is hypnotic - probably my favourite Cialyn track of all time. May I ask where the breakbeat comes from or did you program it yourself? Eternal Thanks.

Honestly, I wouldn't be able to remember. At the time I didn't yet have the MPC (akai) or volca sample, so I either used samples from various packs and/or the drums from my old Korg M50 (which has an impressive number of breakbeat). Also, I do a lot of polyrhythms by overdubing several drum tracks to obtain new rhythms from comercials sample pack... (in reality... the drum tracks of my songs have always been a problem for me, and I never felt like I had solved it ...)

Love the melody on this one man! By any chance did you use the Korg Mickrokorg for this one?

i use often the MicroKorg but not here... i shouldn't say that ... but this tune is an accident, a hazardous handling of a soft (don't remember which one). Not to control things is scary but sometime something to work one happening... The chords are the same as on my other tunes "Secret Garden" I know it's disappointing ... I shouldn't say that... if I wanted to make it again I will not be able.

Thats' awesome thanks for replying. The chords reminded me something similar from BOC"s Music Has the Right To Children. Love it.

For me, BoC's chords it's the most fascinating thing in their music. I often wonder how they finds their chords progression...

Or maybe BOC have created a whole new Genre? Perhaps ;-)

You know ... I started music with Folk and Traditional music. I like to understand the "DNA" of a music or a genre ... For me, yes, BoC have invented something. I don't want to copy BoC ... only explore and discover their "Musical Landscap" in active manner. But it's just a form ... i have'nt the knowledge of BoC and my harmonies, melody or writing are very different.

For me the BOC trigger is something I cannot explain but they were the first to really and purposely articulate it and completely by accident most probably. Thing is they kept doing it :-) Now others have discovered how to do it because of them.
