In this episode of Tarikh, Mubarak talks about Ravinder Singh, also known as Rabinder Singh, was an Indian intelligence officer who worked for the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), India's external intelligence agency. In 2004, he was revealed to be a double agent who had been secretly passing sensitive information to foreign intelligence agencies, specifically the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States. Singh's actions severely compromised Indian national security and caused significant damage to RAW's operations. He managed to escape from India just days before he was scheduled to be apprehended. It is believed that Singh fled to the United States, where he was granted asylum and lived under a new identity. The case of Rabinder Singh highlighted the challenges faced by intelligence agencies in combating espionage and the importance of maintaining strict security protocols to protect sensitive information.
