It's nice to show us Singapore for people who had not visited yet🙏🙏.I appreciated very.much about your respect for our gods for not eating non veg and going to temple.👌👌👌.I had forgotten once and suddenly saw a temple and went inside after eating a nice hotel non.veg buffet and did Archana and came..I had realized it in the evening and felt very bad.But my friend said not to worry for all these man made rituals and they kill goates and chicken cook there only and eat and some temples you don't 😠😠.and at the end of the day only your true devotion counts.Any way I am careful now. I fast and go to temples and only after drinking that thirtham I eat vegetarian food the entire day and I don't feel guilty. Canada

Serangan road is very important place for Tamilian when i was there in the year 1984 i did not believe that iam in Singapore ,it was like cindadiripet. I took puttu & aappam in the morning in small tiffin center run by our village people.

Even dogs don’t bark there.. I was told pets are sent to a training centre for one month on behaviour.. I haven’t heard dog barking sound too.. there are no stray dogs but only pets

They used to be residential in the past but now they are conserved as part of our heritage/history and used as commercial properties like shops, restaurants etc.

Good to see you showing Singapore . You can find mariamman temples in many areas in Singapore not just Chinatown and little India . The same goes for temples of other Indian gods like Krishnan, Murugan and pillayar. This is for temple goers to find a temple in the vicinity of their residential estates so that they don't have to travel too far. However many Indians still prefer to travel to temples of their choice to pray. Also you showed some shophouses in the little India area and said it the residential area of Indians working in Singapore. You actually showed some shophouses that have been converted into living quarters. Mostly Indian work permit workers stay in dormitories in other parts of the island. These accommodations are paid for by their employers. But some prefer to stay in the vicinity of little India area and therefore move into these shophouse living quarters and pay for their own accomodations. In Singapore we don't refer specifically to Indians as tamilians, malayalees, Telugu, north Indians, Punjabis and so on. Here Indians are known only as Indians referred to by their race. Maybe we might differentiate between an Indian national or Singaporean Indian due their nationalities. So please do not divide us by your Indian provinces when you talk about us.
