Lauren's voice reminds me of Harriet Wheeler's. Very pleasant and sweet.

The original versions are great, but these acoustical performances really show how great they are. The way the songs work in both forms, but in completely different ways is really amazing.

Am I the only one who feels that "Miracle"'s acoustic version sounds much better than in its original version? I thought the album version's production sounded too generic while here the arrangements brought the song to life! I could finally enjoy it! Thanks Chvrches, this sounds really good!

She has such an amazing voice. The band playing acoustic is so different to their electric style. All very talented.

NICE. This is the first band performance that I have seen where the guitarist is playing in full classical guitar mode- sitting down, foot stool, correct posture, good right hand technique, etc. And everything is still, only his head really moves. EXCELLENT JOB MR CLASSICAL GUITARIST!

Honestly Iain and Martin are absolutely amazing musicians. They can play pretty much any musical instrument and have the craft nailed perfectly. And create these stunning atmospheres for Laurens Vocals. I have a massive amount of respect for all of them; it'd be good to see more interviews with Iain and Martin and hear their process.

Shes so cute, silly and incredible live!!! :) made me wish i was part of the audience there too!

So nice to hear their songs with a drummer adding a double time feel with brushes.

I recently lost a friend to a disease they fought for a long time. The songs they play here have expressed the emotions I'm feeling and every question I wanted to, but couldn't ask. They've even giving me a laugh between songs. Thank you chvrches.

I usually watch heavy bands but I love watching Chvrchres because they are really great. That they can add a drummer or play acoustic shows the depth of their talent. I hope they have a long career. Cheers.

This bands acoustic numbers just hit all my pleasury bits. From the Lauren chat inbetween the songs to the wonderful performances, they just deliver so often.

I have listened to a few of these short live performances. This one is by far my favourite. The sound is perfect and I love the singer's playful inbetween song moments.

I find so much comfort in her voice...

He wit and humor makes her 10X more attractive.

I love the instant change of tone from singing to: "Sooooo" 😆

Love this! Thank you. Acoustic adds another dimension.

I just discovered this band and I'm glad I did. Sweet voice, keyboard player is so understated but powerful...love them.

I've listened to this set about 10 times today, no lie.

THis whole set is fabulous but i especially loved the version of "Really Gone"

that performance of really gone is just beautiful!

You can always tell if synth-pop and electronic music is musically authentic if the acoustic versions sound good. Here they sound great.

This is the first time I've heard of them, they were performing on the morning news. Needless to say, I was amazed, the clarity in her voice, a special tone, and grahics in their videos is incredible. Well some day I hope I get to see them in concert, but being age 63, permanently disabled and low income it probly won't happen, but I highly recommend them, they're talented. Such a beautiful intimate performance performed so wonderfully! Never forget waking up at 5am turning on the tv to see 🙈 Lauren spinning doing miracle on Ellen. I was soo pumped best day ever!

I like those versions. They definetly need to make some of them part of their regular setlists to fresh things up a little.

Was fortunate to see them at Coachella 2019. They were fantastic. Seeing them this coming December cannot wait. Beautiful set right here!❤️

I really really love this. Probably more than the album versions. I take that back I love every version The Mother we Share equally. That song is the shit.

I love how she's a comedian too!

Lauren is about the cutest thing on this Earth. My heart beats a little faster when I watch her sing. I imagine I'm just one of many on that. This is a really cool performance, always interesting to hear a mostly electronic band go acoutic....they pulled it off quite well. Happy the band continues seeing so much success. Nothing pretentious about them, just a very unique and very likable combination of talents.

I love this! It's pure gold. I'd like to see the band do more acoustic sets.

As much as I love their electronic work I find this acoustic approach brilliant. It's outstanding! She has such a sparkling voice, and this reminds me a bit of when Bjork strips the layers of electronics and lets us hear what she really sounds like.

simply amazing. it is so nice to see TALENT in this world of bull$hit artist and crap they call "music". This group is timeless

THEY ARE THE BEST.

I think it's brave for such a thoroughly electric band to do an acoustic show. But it show they love music, too. I played music with a bunch of friends and we liked to try different sounds. So they aren't just there to be big and famous, they like the art and the act of playing. Good to know they are staying grounded in the midst of all that the music industry throws at you. Not afraid of a change either. 🎵👌

after "Really Gone" she jokes it was depressing...…...HELL NOOOOOO! her voice is like the medicine you need to feel better. I am a dj so I found this group via remixes, but I am branching off from my usual sources to study this group more, and I am so impressed. real talent, real music. I wish them continued success but no to become so big that they change what makes them! This has happened to a lot of dj/producers I loved.

Her voice is just incredible

So now they released an acoustic EP recorded in the famous Hansa studios in Berlin. Depeche Mode, U2 and Bowie recorded great albums here. I think Berlin deserved the Chvrches. And the Chvrches deserved Berlin. Our beloved hometown...

GoldStar5 Agreed, I love the atmosphere of their live performances but you can really hear the strain in her voice when she’s trying to project her voice over loud music. She’s definitely better than she used to be, however her voice is perfect in quieter performances
