Who is the man censored? Jason Evans? Can I find him elsewhere? Have you listened to Butker? I bet you heard all about him....there is an example of saints rising up that have been born!

52:00 very reassuring to those being tortured by their church that only 20000 at most were also tortured , and often died of their injuries...shameful...amen

John , I do not see the reason for your comment. I made it clear that I oppose torture and executions in the name of religion. My point about mentioning "only 20,000" was to refute the lies that between 50 and 90 million were killed. I wish it were zero, but it sadly wasn't. I hope you also consider it shameful that millions of Catholics died because of their faith during the reigns of Henry VII, Elizabeth 1, Cromwell, the French Revolution, Napoleon, the Mexican and Spanish Civil Wars, under Nazism and Communism, etc. These victims deserve re-assurance as well. Persecution is not and has never been a Catholic monopoly. Regards, Robert

@roberthaddad7850 20,000 seems like a very low number...historians on the high end estimate 20k Protestants being killed in the St. Bartholomew Day massacre alone which actually lasted for several days. massacre became known as the Piedmont Easter. An estimate of some 1,700 Waldensians were slaughtered; the massacre was so brutal it aroused indignation throughout Europe....many more could be listed.

As for Henry numbers are often quite overexagerated by Catholics mainly because Pilgrimage of Grace (which could be called Northern Rebellion as peaceful pilgrims don’t besiege castles and kill people), The catholic version would have you believe its 50k+. After Pilgrimage of Grace, Henry VIII actually only executed its leaders- about 220 men in total.

@@roberthaddad7850As for Elizabeth only 189 killed...so your millions of Catholics killed figure the vast majority of them were not killed by Protestants...it seemed you may have been trying to lump it all together. I might also point out Bloody Mary Killed about 300 Protestants to Elizabeth killing 187...not to go tit for tat I'm just saying if you are Catholic you may have a tendency to underemphasize the Protestant killings and overestimate the total of Catholics killed and vice versa if Protestant. AS for Cromwell no doubt Catholics were being persecuted yet much of the killing happened after the 1641 Irish Rebellion in which thousands of Protestants were massacred. This seemed to spur on or contribute to Cromwell reaction.

John, Dr. Haddad’s point was that the Catholic Church’s abuses of power in history Get exaggerated and singled out-as wrong as they were and are-even though they pale in comparison to anti-religious powers’ and some other religious powers’ abuses in numbers. And you have proven his point.
