They overshadowed Rock Lee with this fight. Rock Lee trained his entire life to gain that speed and Sasuke within a month obtained it. I understand the sharingan and how it works but this instantly dropped Rock Lee severely. If it wasn’t for the inner gates Sasuke is a pay to win character 😂

Rock Lee’s ideals were proven wrong in his fight. It was a battle of hard work vs natural talent, and natural talent won. This theme stayed the same for the rest of the series.

Well, it wasn't so much passion as psychosis, and after Naruto helps him reform, he is generally at peace, so doesn't have drastic emotional outbursts anymore (that said, I somewhat agree with you in that Gaara was more interesting to watch when he was a lunatic. lol)

Seeing rock lee in crutches knowing he might never be able to fight again look at the talented Sasuke, the definition of what he was trying to overcome, copy his hard work within a months broke my heart as a kid. I love that sasuke only builds on lees taijutsu going into shippuden. Before minato and ay were introduced sasuke was undeniably the fastest character in the series.

Undeniably? You said sasuke builds on lee taijutsu but you are giving credit to sasuke by saying sasuke is fastest character. In reality lee is the fastest character in the series not sasuke after might guy and Minato. Even after copying lee taijutsu sasuke only achieved lee normal speed. However lee has opened upto 5th gate .His speed has increased several fold. But sasuke could not open atleast any gate . Unfortunately lee is thinking sasuke has achieved the speed in shorter time compared to him by hard work. But in reality he didn't know that sasuke has copied his jutsu.

Blitzed kaguya with boil release where he moves faster then his avatar and madara who had both his eyes (unlike the one guy blitzed who had one rinnegan) and I could argue minato is also faster then 8th gate guy seeing flying thunder god technique reached madara before guy could. 🤣 guy or lee definitely are NOT the fastest character in the show.

@@user-op3el8pu5c at the start of shippuden hebi sasuke is the fastest character. His feats are superior to anything 5th gate lee has accomplished. Speed blitzing team 7, speed blitzing deidara, dodging V2 bee, moving on par with V1 raikage. Lee doesn’t even come close 5th gate or not bro cope.

@@Treantz yeah then sasuke speed blitzes Naruto proving himself to be even faster than him. In the anime sasuke uses ameno to swap with one of Naruto’s truth seeker orbs but in the manga he just blitzed Naruto with raw movement speed. Sasuke’s still the fastest ninja by the end of the series.

Exactly, he had never actually been hurt physically that much before, only time was really with Rock Lee, and now he had a potentially dangerous stab wound that made him bleed. He hadn't bled before so it freaked him out, especially as he doesn't sleep due to Shukaku driving him insane.

The fight was over when Gaara was hit with Chidori. His chakra dropped to near empty and he needed a long rest period. Base Gaara was completely powerless against Sasuke.
