@@OnlyMePhoenix Yeah man I'm glad I came across your channel when I started maining Chun Li last year, I was a MK player before. I still have a lot to work on especially anti airing (need to air to air more I think) and still get shaky in ranked but it's been getting better. @@alkalinemk1588 😱 NICE 👍🏽 Chun Li!!! For the anti air try using her air grab if you can react in time. Back and HK is good for that too 🤔 and jumping HP towards the opponent. And one more thing…., I Love that combo you did against DoctorSecs!!!!!! 😂😂 that combos was nasty!

@@OnlyMePhoenix Haha that feels good to hear man really appreciate that too and I'm definitely going to take your advice on the air throw, will work on that in practice mode it's very satisfying to hit that haha. And I'll be practicing some of the combos you posted , I've never seen anyone do the v trigger air legs into grounded super at 2:30 that was absolutely filthy I need to start using those jump in stomp combos ASAP!! 🙏🤯

Yoo, bro. Diamond Chun here... I only came here to remember what Chun looked like on V, because I dropped V once I tasted SF6 during the first Beta. But I remember fighting you! I can't remember if it was in Ranked or a Battle Lounge, but it was on my way up to Diamond and I remember coming across your Chun because I remember all mirror matches if the opponent is good. You were probably the best mirror match I had. Just wanted to say Kudos to you.

@@OnlyMePhoenix Respect. As much as I love home consoles, they severely crippled the old school walk-in arcade scene. Maybe when you run down SF6, we could get a hand cam or an input overlay; to see the timing would be as helpful as it would be impressive.

Amazing video. I picked up Chun after watching your stuff and im doing pretty well with her (down in the scrub ranks) just wondering if you could do a video about general strategies against different character types (shotos, charge characters etc) and what type of plan we should be going for with each. Shotos are my weakness right now...anyway just a suggestion. Thanks!

I’m so glad I could help and yeah I don’t mind at all. They are a pain to deal with especially if they are throwing fireballs repeatedly, in order to get you to jump over them to get set up for a Dragon punch, will work on that video to help showcase some options, setups, and mix ups for dealing with them. @@OnlyMePhoenix Much appreciated. It's very difficult for newer/lower rank players to find help with how to get better and progress. In low ranks I feel like shotos just try and cheese you out. Its kind of frustrating. Any help would be much appreciated! 🙏🙏🙏

Oh one other question is after v skill 1 I can only get medium kick to hit at the apex of the jump. How are you hitting it when they are on the way down? What am I missing there? So I can usually get jumping HK into crouching HP V-skill 1 medium kick into EX legs. I can't get just regular legs to work.

@@jonathonflaman2440 I understand that completely because I was there and it’s extremely frustrating to be zoned and fireballed to death. As far as the combo goes, when you jump in to get the Hk into down HP as soon you connect with the first hit of crouching HP then do fireball motion (⤴️) into LK. Reason why lightning legs with LK because it allows you to be closer to the opponent for whatever your next button maybe to continue the combo. You can cancel crouching HP into almost any special or super mover after the first hit. After you connect with the lightning legs (LK) then you can follow up with LP, or LK, into EX legs or another lightning legs MK then activate VSkill and continue the combo. I hope that answers your question. If now then I will probably show it on a live stream

You have to hit 2 and hold it immediately after you input 5MP. After you connect with 2MK then hit 8LK. LK SBK don’t need as much time to charge before releasing it.
