Recipe:

Step 1: Make the Bread Cone and Baguette
Ingredients
* 2 cups warm water
* 1 tbsp active dry yeast
* 2 tsp sugar
* 5 ½ cups AP flour
* 3 tsp salt
* 1 tsp olive oil
1) In a small bowl, bloom the yeast in the warm water and sugar. In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix the salt and half of the flour. Add your water to the stand mixer and knead with dough hook, gradually adding flour until the dough comes together. Let proof for an hour in an oiled bowl.
2) Divide the dough in half and roll one out into a rectangle. Slowly roll and pinch the dough into a cylinder and pinch the ends and the seam shut. Place onto the baguette rack and let rise for another 30 minutes.
3) With the other half of dough, press it out into a circle. Lay it over your conical cake pan and press down the sides. Fit a larger conical pan over the top. While it is in the oven you may have to press it down a bit if the bread is rising too far.
4) Bake at 400F for about 20 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Clam Chowder
Ingredients
* ⅓ cup chopped bacon
* 1 white onion, finely diced
* 2 diced celery stalks
* 3 tbsp flour
* 2 cups chicken stock
* 2 cans chopped clams
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 2 russet potatoes, cut into ¼in cubes
* Salt
* Pepper
1) Render bacon in a large stock pot. Remove bacon from pot and set aside. Saute onion and celery until softened. Stir in flour and mix evenly. Add chicken stock, clam juice, cream, and potatoes. While stirring, bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 20 minutes, stirring periodically.
2) When the potatoes are soft, add clams and bacon, salt and pepper and cook for a few minutes until the clams have firmed up. Set aside.
Step 3: Assemble Your Funnel
Ingredients
* 1 Finished Clam Chowder
* 1 Finished Bread Cone
* 1 Finished Baguette
1) Remove your bread cone from its mold. Hollow out the baguette and smooth out the inside as best you can. Cut a hole in the bottom of the cone and fit your baguette in the hole, doing your best to seal the hole so there is no leakage. You can use bread discard to do this. Plug your baguette tube with excess bread and wrap the bottom in plastic wrap. Fill up the cone with clam chowder, remove your plug, and suck!

The fact that they take the effort to actually write the recipes for crazy creations like this is commendable. No one besides Josh has ever wanted this, but it's great that now people have the option if they want.

I feel like this is what happens when Nichole and Vi take the day off and leave Trevor and Josh alone in the Kitchen.
Every year Josh looks more like chef Robert Irvine at his prime and I'm loving it. We need more superhero looking chefs!
I love that watching Mythical Kitchen has become part of my morning routine but I still open up my subscriptions and say "Lord, here we go again" when I see a new video title and Josh doing something crazy in the thumbnail.
This episode was a beautiful, hilarious disaster. Like a train full of clowns. And YES! We need a "Let your internal monologue be your external content" shirt.

this has nothing to do with this episode I just- I'm from new england and every time they do the 'wicket smaht' it slays me. It makes me laugh so hard. because I say it like that- I don't have that accent in my day to day life- but if I say wicked anything after it has that accent. Its involuntary. and its SO FUNNY to me when other people do it. I just.. appreciate this channel so much
Nothing on earth could have prepared me for the climax of this video. You think you understand the concept but the moment Josh disconnected from the funnel I became a different person. Sixteen and a half minutes was not enough time to ready my eyeballs. Really abhorrent content today guys. I think it’s gonna be a classic. Great job 💜

Trevor dying over Josh's "good soup" made me feel something.
I feel like directly before they were about to pour the chowder, Josh realized what he had done. Like, up until then, he was "Hahaha, clam chowder bread bong" and then it was done and he was "Oh no, clam chowder bread bong."
This channel has gone off the rails. And I love it.
I love how comfortable Josh is with us to talk about Julia and Pippin without addressing everytime that Julia is his cat and Pippin is indeed his girlfriend

The total chaos is why I watch mythical kitchen videos.
I work at Panera Bread and have been there for almost 20 years. I bake the bread at night and sometimes I help cut the bread up in the mornings for the day. I enjoy my job. They have eliminated clam chowder from the menu, I don't know why. But after watching this video I really want to try this whole bread funnel with hollowed out baguette. But I'm going to use the turkey chili instead which is my favorite soup. So on my next off day I'm going to try and do this.
