The route from Granite Falls, Washington to Darrington, Washington goes via Mountain loop highway. The highway is paved from Granite falls but as we go more towards east, unpaved road starts. There is a stretch of around 13 Miles which is gravel. paved again for the remaining 9 miles to Darrington. The road is enjoyable for driving. The Famous Chuckanut Drive is on south of Bellingham, WA is one of the most scenic roadways in Washington State. Chuckanut is popular for Larrabee State Park, the first state park in Washington State, with its water vistas and numerous hiking trail. Chuckanut Drive is also the location of a large Oyster farm that supplies oysters to local restaurants and ships.
