Know I'm gonna get lit up but when EJ said this one you are gonna like o instantly said grape drink. Not all of us grew up with money you know. And guess what it was his favorite wasn't it.

I think it'll be very hard for Chuck to quit cold turkey (alas there was no turkey flavor in those that he tried), unless he's able to replace diet Coke with something else that he likes--perhaps ice tea (no sugar or other additives)? The problem with diet stuff is that although they have no calories, they still contain substitutes and other bad additives that mess up your metabolism in other ways, perhaps just as badly as the sugar. I'd recommend either iced tea or coffee (preferably without cream or sugar) for Chuck. There are ALL kinds of flavors for iced teas too, many of which are natural.

Hey Chuck, how about an air up water bottle? This thing, you can add plain water in a bottle and insert a flavor scent pod of your choice like watermelon, orange, apple, etc, over the mouthpiece on top. And if you drink water from the mouthpiece with the flavor scent pod, the flavor scent from the scent pod goes through your nose and to your brain and this tricks your brain that you're drinking water with flavor from the scent pod even if you are just drinking water.
