@@supermariopreston2 David is the CEO of Chuck E. Cheese that has lead CEC out of bankruptcy and spearheaded the animatronics removal and 2.0 remodel. Every stage could've been destroyed for all he cared, however he has decided to save five stages because of the fans. The one in this video is one of them.

I live in Illinois so I've been there only once and I loved it.I was with my best friend.I'm so glad springfield's keeping their animatronics❤❤❤❤❤❤

I go there every day and have been going there.Since I was like a year old and so glad it's a retro.Sorry not going there watching videos sins i was one years old

I believe it’s still getting 2.0, it’s just that their remodel won’t include the removal of the animatronics.

Thank God they’re not getting rid of the animatronics at this location! This is my local Chuck E Cheese! Had Birthdays here since like I was 2 or 3 13 years ago I’m 14 but it went by too fast!

Great they are saving this CU-1 Stage, Very old And unique Last one left, solid history.

The last location to have the orange and yellow swirly star drum front design.

@@GigaChadObject I heard that the stage is staying, the wall to the right is going to be the video wall, the wall across from that is gonna be art, the dance floor will be in front of the stage, and that little space will have 80s and 90s PTT and SPP decor

Honestly if rather have Whitehall saved because it's closer to me

I heard that the stage will be replaced with a new set up. Wonder what that'll be.

I’m so Glad this is becoming a retro store, when I found out this was the last CEI 1 stage, I thought it was over

Man I love this location so much, I’m so glad it’s getting saved. I also been researching about the origins of Showbiz Pizza in Springfield IL. I really want to find more info on it, if anyone has any info or pictures please let me know

That’s what I’m questioning, most I think they will do is put stickers of the rockstar character designs’ heads over the avenger renders

I don't understand why they can't just redo the walls and keep the old art! yeah maybe the kids might not care about if they're there or not. but the fans will sure miss them if they get thrown out!
