I remember going to a chuck e cheese for my brother's birthday in the 2000s and the animatronics were from the 1991 and 1994 versions. They were so jittery, it was horrifyingly awesome.👌 I remember the mascots not being much better.

1999-2013 is probably my most favorite era, the bot looks much cleaner and more appealing, such a shame they are slowly going to 2.0..

The 1997 one looks so like Chuck E. Cheese it’s like selling candy or cupcakes or something, but it looks animated

FNAF is really the only thing that's keeping "animatronics" a thing to this day.

I had a Chuck E. Cheese close to me and it has all the animatronics but now it’s just a bunch of posters of the robots for where they used to be

Puts in the dance floors in 2023 to modernize restaurants or whatever, there are different possible reasons 1. High maintenance cost (unlikely due to it being a company that makes about millions) 2. Animatronics got less attention from guests. (Yes there’s people that watch them, but little kids focus more on the games) 3. Just wanted to update restaurants (no other reason) 4. FNaF movies release (they ripped off the movie poster and destroyed the robots a little after the films release. The company has never been too fond of fnaf)

Ugh I can feel my childhood crying for Chuck E cheese to come back 😭 worlds definition of out with the old, in with the new. I feel so old and sad to see them all go but I'm truly glad to experience them in my childhood, I remember going there for my birthday there untill I turned 12 years old, my 12th bday was my last with Chuck E cheese's and I'd say it was worth a visit with all my bdays there lol yes my mom was very annoyed when I told her where I want my bday at but we were all happy and enjoyed the fun.
