My parents , who are 70 , always said even back then, Chuck E. Cheese was always known for their animatronics , now they’re just another typical Dave and busters location with games. They’re digging their own grave

They removed what made them stand out. Not just the animatronics, but the tokens and tickets. Now, they're simply a D&B or Round1 clone. Nothing to make people go out of their way to go there. The only thing left now is some older games.

@@FrappeInsider biggest problem is Dave and Busters/Round One offer much bigger arcades and bars/pool tables/darts for adults to enjoy while kids play.. CEC does not

It's funny because they could've done all this remodeling and simply kept the stage with the animatronics, or during the remodel fixed all the animatronic's issues. They didn't have to be removed at all.

Damn i am tearing up, I will never set foot in a chuck e cheese unless its a birthday for a family friends kids or my future kids. As a adult this was hurting me alot. I will miss seeing "my concert" is what i used to call it when i was a kid. And The Animatronics and the history of Show Biz and Chuck E cheese. This video I was not ready to say good bye to it all. People who say I will forget it and get use to it soon. I havent got used to it since our resturant just decided to leave only Chuck up on stage. I can never forgive them for it. All i have are pictures to show and share my smiles and childhood. R.I.P to the old chuck e cheese.

As much as I love the animatronics and the old interiors and exteriors I think this looks really nice and is a good turn for the company. The arcade was arranged really nicely.

this was the CEC right by my hotel when i went to hershey in late august of 2022. btw it was a fairfield by mariott and it was good.😊

FUN FACT: This store was featured on the news about a fight back in the 2010's.

Lower merchandise quality 5. Destroy and trash the thing that made you popular and replace it with a tv and broken dance floor and UP your prices Chuck.E.Cheese CLOSING SOON

Damn... Compared to before the remodel, the 2.0 exterior looks depressing.

It sucks that they painted over the exterior tiles, they should've preserved those things before they were repainted.

One store actually did that. Kapolei Hawaii, but they’re a franchise.

Maybe because the animatronics are expensive and have to get constantly fixed and cleaned

@@janomartin4483 yeah and also ordering new parts aren’t available. They removed the robots to completely modernize Chuck E. Cheese. Out with the old and in with the new if you will.
