Agreed. Chuck E. Cheese really changed. All because of kids and their new technology that the CEO’s of the whole program think it’s right to listen to these “kids”.

@@yoyoispolyankeeseee1352 I don't think they ever thought that people also went to be able to get tickets and use tokens like the old days. I wish they atleast kept both ways. Card, tokens, tickets, or digital. If you swiped with a card you'd get the digital tickets. If you entered tokens you'd get physical tickets.

I’m glad that I was able to see the stage in its glory before removal. RIP!

Fantastic documentary, very well done. I Used to visit this place a few times as a kid, this was my local they used to freak my out a bit, especially if they weren’t functioning properly, but sad to see the animatronics gone now. Glad I still have the memories however. Used to be a dark show room, I think it was even a 2 level show room, I don’t think I’ve been in there since those days.

Poor Jasper looks so sad at 9:16 :( and Chucky's expressions like hes looking over at him and the rest of the gang and thinking or saying "well this is it guys... it was great working and performring with ya's all" (bit of "old chuck personality in there from balcony stage days *and fruitcake dog era*)

2.0 should keep the animatronics but add a tv on the curtains that way it's not gonna be complicated to remove the animatronics we'll atleast northridge did something else

This is actually my local Chuck E. Cheese! 7635 Mall Road. I haven’t been here since I was 5, I’m 13 now. When you look at the stage, the bathrooms were to the side of it (you can see it at 10:04 on the right) so whenever me, my brother and my cousins came here for a birthday, we wouldn’t go to the bathroom alone because of the animatronics. At the time the oldest was one of my cousins, I think she was around 9-10 years old, and she was still afraid of the damn things. I thought this place closed down during Covid but I guess it survived by the grace of god. I need to come back there and visit again sometime soon

@@CoolioTheSecond I went to one of ours on my birthday last week and I HATED the fact that that update was there and the animatronics were gone! Only good thing about that night was id never been to chucky's on any of my birthdays (But visited plenty of other times) and I managed to grab a picture of the "New Digital Jasper" on the "Big Screen where the stage was. Theres a cpl other locations in my areea Im Hoping ill get lucky to catch the show before its gone for good from the public. and Id Love to be able to get my hands on a Jasper cyberamic but im betting thats near impossible. even if I couldnt get the controller with hi id still love to have him

I really hate when they remodel I was so disappointed when I started seeing in the news cuz these animatronics are what made Chuck e cheese part of what it was an is even as far back as 1977 I'd Love to be able to get my hands on a Jasper..I'd take them all though if I could been going to Chucky's since the 80s

@@donnasargent9541 Not necessarily. They’re used for parts for other stores that aren’t 2.0 yet. For example, Chicago Fullerton CEC got 2.0 and now Tinley Park IL is using the head of Fullerton’s bot.

Maybe the animatronics would have been successful if they kept their agreement with Creative Engineering. They did a fantastic job programming the shows back then. But to save money back then they decided "Concept Unification" would be best that way they didn't have to pay Creative Engineering. The shows really took a hit with bad programing and lack of maintenance on the tronics.

But now in my opinion I'm the future when Aaron retires or Pass away, I like to think a Studio that created Yo Gabba Gabba! And Aquabats would maybe Buy the rights of Rock Afire and bring em back to performing in Public again for Aaron. Or any studio that's worthy enough.

They did a fantastic job programming them back then and when I worked on the animatronics at Ghost Town our system just had a tape machine a cassette deck where the other part of the tape had the shows data on it and the other tracks were for the audio pretty good technology for programming and stuff back then but absolutely with today's technology could be even more but remember the original programming is what started it all never forget that❤ I guess they've got a system out now called program blue that can be used for animatronics I just started following up on that
