Chuck E Cheese Crystal Lake IL April 2012 segment 1
The uploads keep on coming! Here's segment 1 of the awesome CEC April 2012 show from the Studio C Alpha in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I visited Crystal Lake in May 2012, when they were still unremodeled, complete with curtains and a nearly perfect Alpha stage. Watch throughout the video for a few short glimpses of Crystal Lake's big showroom, and the many pre-remodel 'artifacts' they still had around the store! This was a great location to visit back in 2012, and I'm happy to share this video with you guys so you can experience a piece of it too.

I grew up with avenger chuck, and I definitely remember seeing this at my store. I'd love to see Department 18 cover and parody real songs again. Fantastic audio by the way, crisp and clear. Excited to see what you upload in future videos

I honestly miss when that location still had the control panel and the blue screen... This is my local CEC and I believe that they got rid of them around 2014/2015. I think it was one of the first locations to get the 5.0 treatment.
Yes I Have Been To This Location Multiple Times Between 2017-2018. The Curtains Got Disabled In 2016 Because It Was Not Functioning Or Something. This Location First Opened As Phase 3 And Alpha In Fall Of 2000 And Remodeled To Phase 5 In August 2015.

Showbiz Midwest, It Did Not Remodel Until 2015. I have seen some pictures from 2014 and still has its Phase 3 showing throughout the pictures.

God the Studio C bots were so ahead of their time. Their movements were just realistic and more fluid
As the last avenger song this is a good song to end the avenger era
That ending lmao (the audio cut) for a second I thought the show was interrupted, man I guess I haven’t watched this segment in a while XD
I wish they still put in as much effort to program the bot with realistic movements today. All we get today is pretty much random movements with the mouth and eyelids programmed accordingly.

I can agree, but at the same time it's still better than how the programming was from late 2013-2015.

I didn't even know this bot was CAPABLE of such quick and fluid movements. Poor Chuck isn't living up to his potential anymore. I've noticed the current 3 stage programming is nowhere near as lifelike as it was 30 years ago, to the point where I don't know if a movement is broken, or just not programmed. I imagine CEC just isn't prioritizing the shows that much anymore, although sometimes I also wonder if the programming is deliberately slower and simpler to prevent wear and tear.

chuck had a new jersey accent since the beginning, before after april of 2012 his voice was changed along with this accent
Videos like this make me lament the fact that I never got to see a Studio C in it's prime, the only thing this video was missing was the late night outfit! I only just go to experience my first Studio C last year, but it was the one in Janesville which is sadly a Crappa... Got any more vids from when you were in Wisconsin? Particularly I'd like to see more of Brookfield and Milwaukee before they remodeled.
Fact: this location used to have a Gemini in the back of the stage, But now it doesn't

@CEC IL Well All Studio C's had to disable curtains by September 2005 but then by September 2008 (3 years later), most all 2000-2005 Studio C Curtains were re-enabled.
