परम पूज्य गुरुदेव के कथन सब अपनी जगह सही है .......पर छुआछूत यदि संक्रमित व्यक्तियों के लिए था तो संक्रमित व्यक्ति तो किसी वर्ग में हो सकता हैं तो फिर अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति के व्यक्तियों से ही छुआछूत क्यो ? .....आप कुछ भी कहे परंतु धरातल की हकीकत तो यही है कि आज भी पुरानी विचारधारा के कुछ व्यक्ति ऐसे हैं जो इस कुप्रथा को पोसित कर रहे हैं ! …पर हाँ आज का युवा वर्ग जरूर काविले तारीफ हैं जो ऐसी कुप्रथायें न मानकर अपने शिक्षित होने का प्रमाण एवम समाज में भाईचारे का मार्ग प्रशस्त्र कर रहे हैं !!!!!!

Very nicely explained . Initially I got irritated with the explaination , then I understood the logic of 'Bedbhav' . Humans are capable of misusing any good process or matter. Nowadays there's much hue and cry over misuse of mobile , it's only a device, it's upto us, we use or misuse. Similarly in all cases.

Muariyan(Shudra varn) dynasty set that solid economical structure of India and unified it, between Maurya and Gupta's there are several small Kingdoms and dynasty ruled but due to their limited means of production and resources they couldn't make it much, when Gupta's came in power they got near about whole India as Mauryans developed and produced so much wealth.

He explains that everything in excess is bad. There is "chua chuut" within our body and it is also practical scientifically for hygiene purposes. Likewise society has also formed certain norms for well being. I would like to add that as per bagawath geeta (word of god) the 4 castes that is Brahmin, ksatriya, vyshya and shudra are based on one's work (karma/action) and not based on birth. Therefore it is possible for brahmin to be born to a shudra ( example valmiki, vyasadeva were brahmins despite born to parents who were shudra). Likewise viswamitra born as kshatriya became brahmin and so on and so forth. Over the ages, Most often the son follows the father's foot steps and therefore a brahmins son also became learned and automatically became a brahmin. Down the ages the system got corrupted and people started assigning caste based on birth and that was a problem that needed to be addressed.

Ishwar ne to jatayu, gaj,Sabari ,kewat, monkey,ajamil, ye sabhi shudra the Inka udhdhaar bhi kiya aur Sabari ke pass khud gaye aur joothe ber bhi khaye.Bus ham suddha hona chahiye.

Brother some caste traditionally practised professions which led to spread of diseases among the masses therefore the practice of untouchability was devised to protect the rest of the population. It was a common practice in Japan, Korea & China read about Burakumin. When these caste stopped doing those professions then the practice too should stop in our work place of we find someone from the untouchable castes we shouldn't practice it because he's not practicing that particular profession anymore.

What Puri shankacharya said seems so logical and correct, especially after corona... The one's who were entitled to do chua choot did it to cross all the limits that lives of people on the receiving end was reduced to a suffering and nothing short of a curse. Everyone has their job in society and they should be respected for that. That didn't happen so we are living a society where anyone is doing any job and we are a mediocre society today in spite of being so much ahead in terms science, technology, economics, healthcare, philosophy etc. at some point of time in past. Perhaps this is what is bound to happen in Kaliyug.

For those who don't understand "Shudh Hindi" or aren't bothered to watch complete video, Untouchability is practiced to prevent contraction of diseases even from those who are likely to carry one asymptomatically. Shankaracharya ji does not approve and also claim to stand against the level of "untouchability" as pointed out by Babasaheb or present day "rationalists".

@@Sanjay-gc1fd This act is still prevalent only in the remote areas or small villages I believe. In such cases, people (upper castes) are aware what sort of errands the other person, a family or a group runs in that area. Let me ask you a question, if you were at some place and if you knew the person standing next to you is some sanitation worker, would you maintain the social distance? Personally I would. Yes, I know there are soap, sanitizers, etc, abundantly available these days but what gives you the sense of guarantee that the person, who you don't know that personally, uses any of these? I mean, how do you tell whether this person's hygienic?

@@urmilasethy3649 and they justify slavery by saying that you're born in this family because of what you did in previous life and they say its a god's law but some questions can be asked to test this theory like Concept of family is purely a societal thing there was also a time in human history when family like today didn't existed so why this rule didn't worked then Its like they made up their own rules and they forced many people to remain outcaste But krishna never mentioned in Bhagvat Gita that your varna is determined by your birth its doesn't make much sense to assume occupation at birth In gita chapter 18.41 he clearly said your varna is decided by type of dominated guna you have for example if someone is sattvic dominated then he is brahmin and since he is sattvic dominated his action will be of like brahmin And gunas are highly dynamic things the type of action one will do from spiritual point of view will decide your guna or your level of consciousness is most important because you're not your body

If Bharhaman is doing Kshatriya work he Kshatriya Brahaman, if he doing vaisya work he is Vaisya Brahaman , if he is doing Shudra work he is Shudra Brahaman and if he is doing untouchable work he is untouchable Brahaman. Likwise can it be possible to reverse Hindu version of caste ( i.e if a untouchable person starts chanting Mantra and reading Vedas and becomes expert in Vedas and Shastra. Will he be called Untouchable Dyani. )

I disagree with Guruji. There is difference between Prevention Based Untouchability and Caste Based Untouchability. If someone is suffering from a viral disease then social distancing and untouchability from him is totally valid and scientific and the disease doesn't occurs to a specific man of specific caste. Most importantly the Prevention Based Untouchability is temporary not permanent. But Swamiji is defending the Caste Based Untouchability which is permanent because someone from Dalit community can't change his jati. Please listen other Dharmacharyas too from different Sampradaya. Please don't defend inhumane practices of Untouchability in the name of corona.🙏🙏🙏

I liked Sankaracharyar's explanation. Hope if I add this as well it would make sense - the untouchability practice in the caste system is only limited to the occupation like a Brahmana has to undertake all Vedic rituals with strict disciplines and vows and for this has to maintain both personal cleanliness and ceremonial purity. So be a pure vegetarian. A kshatriya has to protect the society and hence has to maintain strength and ferocity, so allowed certain pleasures and non-vegetarian food. A vaisya has to provide for the needs, comforts of the society and needs to travel, so allowed non-vegetarian food. A shudra attends to the needs of other classes and thus serves, so by this itself is very near to God and thus does not need to maintain rituals and allowed even tamasic food like previous day food. Other than this, there is no difference between any one. This is what I think that our shastras say.

No untouchability in Vedas.All are creations of the Paramatma. The Shankaracharya told untouchability in peculiar ways, but the laymen can not understand, but bring confusion.We should adhere to the Vedas. The present Shankaracharyas are out of the philosophy of Adi Shankaracharya.

Like we say for a person born in rich family that he must have done something good in past life so born in a rich or royal family. Same concept was used for varna of birth too, if did very good karma they used to take birth in Brahmin or any royal family in their next birth as it decides one's social status and fortune.

You are correct but sir we fill bad that this practice should be stopped and if you thing it is misused then what is correct should be preached

Everyone behaviour irrespective of Varna is like a Sudra but changes only due Janeu Sanskar for Dwija.

That menstruation thing is true...I have to accept though unwillingly. So many times Tulsi died at my home when I went near it in my periods. My Nani fell ill when I served her tea in my periods, she was very pious. My opinion is if you don't believe it's ok. But respect those who who do, you may not always know entire truth.
