If you read the translation, he VERY deliberately avoids using the word 'surrender'. He also warns the citizens not to do anything rash in response to the defeat.

That erhu man, gets me right in the feels. This is really an emotional track. And people say black metal is just about being angry.

To date this is by far my most favourite CHTHONIC track everything about t is perfect all the elements in the song blend together perfectly, and the video is great to boot.

my gosh I almost cried with that final part of the video, It's like you cannot feel anything but how the kamikazi pilots were feeling in that moment, plus the super fucking emotional music, fear, knowing that you are about to die, seeing throught the trembling window of your plane how your destiny is getting closer, Just imagine the tension they felt flying through bullets, with the sound of the ocean and bombs exploding, and the japanese emperor's speech roaming in your head, knowing that what you are doing is for your motherland. it is, indeed, very very powerful...

As someone who'd be classified westerner, I find it refreshing, inspiring and indeed immensely admirable to see a story so often untold, from an "Eastern" perspective, it's something you just don't see in my part of the world. I love music that tells a story and Cthonic delivers like few others, especially when the story tells of unsung and unnamed heroes, who died to defend everything that they know, this shit is real, real men who stepped up and literally gave their lives.A story worth telling
