Γεννήθηκα στην Χρυσούπολη το 1962, μέσα στο σπίτι του πατέρα μου κοντά στο μπακάλικο του Τζώρτζη, κοντά στους θείους μου και στον νουνό μου τον Νούση. Φύγαμε για την Θεσσαλονίκη το 1967-68 μετά την γέννηση του αδελφού μου Βασίλη. Ήταν μάλλον η πιο άκυρη απόφαση που πήραν οι γονείς μου. Όταν σκέφτομαι Χρυσούπολη , η καρδιά μου ΜΕΛΩΝΕΙ.
