Here it is, a complete un-edited tear down video of a Chrysler TorqueFlite A-904 Transmission from a 1965 Plymouth Valiant. With the amount of hard runs I've witnessed this Mopar do and the condition of how well everything survived, given the history of the car, I'm very impressed how well a stock factory built transmission lasted for nearly 60 years, untouched. Clean transmission fluid, proper kick-down linkage settings, and a good transmission cooler yields great results over thousands of miles and time. The only thing in this transmission that really needs replaced is the 2nd gear/kickdown band, mainly due to a silly small weak spring installed in the kickdown servo from factory.
