I always wonder- do they always speak like this in Salons? Are they taught to whisper and explain, or so they see the videos and do it in their own? I absolutely love the Japanese whispering voices.

This is a job I could really love. Getting massages, hair washed, facials man I would be one relaxed person. Everyone talks softly no loud mouths.

"Please take care of me", I will be saying that to all my sisters (there's 8 of us) and mom it's such a beautiful saying.. mad respect for the woman of Japan I was taught something new and it's a wonderful saying with so much meaning 💛

I have terrible insomnia. I hope this video helps me nap.

You are so right. There is an element to Twix's videos that I haven't found in any other asmr video.

Classy masseuse, love how she gently explains her actions to you. Far too often you get a dead silent therapist that creates a communication barrier.

@@asmrtwix I’ve done that for a handful but have yet to find one that has a branch in Fukuoka City. 😭 I haven’t searched all of the ones you’ve visited though. I did find a massage place at Hakata Station in Fukuoka city which has been nice for me. They do similar stuff but I wish they’d speak to me in Japanese the whole time. It’d be so relaxing but I feel like that’s a bit awkward s when I don’t understand everything or even how to ask for that treatment lmao.

I would love to come to Japan to learn about these types of massages, the culture behind them, different techniques

As we spend more time in front of our smartphones and computers, the more we'll see the opposite (contradictory) muscles taking strain. This will cause headaches, insomnia, nausea etc. Kinda funny as it is almost 02:00am and I am watching this. . . . Anyway, a good neck massage and a cup of vegetable broth can make you feel like a new person the next day.

I have been trying to figure out what is different about your asmrs that others do not have, what about it makes me fall asleep the way your videos do. I think I have figured it out, and it is not at all a negative thing but there is a slight white/brown/pink noise effect in the backgrounds of your videos, which... if you aren't aware can be very soothing. Specially to people who are on the neurodivergent spectrum. I find it very soothing.

I so, so wish I could find this in the uk, particularly north uk, I would travel of course. I’ve looked online before and could only find anything similar in hair dressers. My body and brain don’t easily relax, the noise from a busy salon would keep my brain buzzing

I’d love to experience a traditional Asian massage. They way they look at harmony in body along with aromas, instruments, etc. The few I’ve had here in the States of course help my strained and tense muscles but I feel lacking and awkward afterwards. Of course in my economic class in Oklahoma isn’t mud baths n champagne either....

Japan is a great place to visit! It is very easy to get around if you have a Japan Rail Pass. If you learn some basic Japanese, it will be easier. Business hotels (such as Toyoko Inn) are everywhere and are always tidy and good value.

It's gotta be the culture. I don't even question her acquired knowledge. I just have a deep respect for the thought that goes into the whole process.

OMG can I hire this woman to follow me around and give me massages every few hours? I've suffered from severe bruxism nocturne (grinding my teeth in my sleep) since I was a child. I wear a protective guard to stop me from chipping my teeth, but my jaw still hurst from the nightly clenching and I've noticed that other parts of my body are reacting to my stress in my sleep: e.g. clutching my fists, crunching my shoulders and my back. I'm absolutely exhausted all the time, even when I've slept 8 hrs or more.

I will visit Japan one day 😊😊😊
