They are not even inanimate objects. They are so many pixels being pushed, but they are pixels imbued with spirit.

Allie K no Rabbit was in the original Winnie the Pooh books by A A Milne Disney didn't add him it was Gopher they added as a gimmick

The similarity isn't a coincidence. Both vocal performances were modeled after and inspired by Ed Wynn, an early 20th century comedian and clown. He played Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins, and voiced the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland.

They are all so precious

I’m thirteen...And still love Winnie The Pooh and his friends and always have and always will. I have quite a big collection now, including the Christopher Robin teddies...I’m in love with them. I’ve been to Hartfield, where the real and original Hundred Acre Woods is, also Pooh Sticks Bridge and Pooh Corner cafe and gift shop, also Hartfield Station and Piglet’s car park...I call it my forest. Lots of people think I’m exactly like the younger Christopher Robin, the way i play with them, take them to school, take them on adventures, love them, cuddle them, sing to them, say goodnight\ good morning to them and talk to them. I’ve read all of A.A Milne’s books and i love E.H Shepard’s drawings so much that I’m making my own drawings of my Winnie The Pooh teddies and writing about what i do with them while bringing them to life. They mean the world to me, Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh, Kanga, Roo, Piglet, Owl and Rabbit.

Considering this movie is about a workaholic man reconnecting with his childhood innocence, I'm not sure I would consider it to be aimed at kids anyways. I mean kids _can_ see it, sure, but it's clearly more meaningful to people who have grown up with Pooh as a staple of their childhoods.
