I was just watching an early movie of Christoph's called "Kopfstand" from 1981. As I was watching it, I realized I'd seen it before. Sure enough, we watched the film in my high school German language class ten years ago (I'm in the USA). I can't believe I was introduced to his work but didn't know it. He's so wonderful in that movie :)

Christoph made a joke or was being sarcastic when he described it with "it has stripes. red, white and red" which is the austrian flag. Jimmy didn't get the joke and Christoph had a perplexed expression for a moment. You member? Cristoph should have laughed. Jimmy probably would have asked him "whats so funny?" and Christoph could have answered him with "...ah, you would't get it."

Well, I don't exactly know what your childish tiraid was brought on by. However, I was simply stating that in your comment there should have been a comma after the word "Basterds" to symbolize that there were two distinct thoughts going on in your sentence. One where you were correcting him, and the other where you insulted him. You know, instead of just combining them so it makes no sense grammatically. You shouldn't be preaching the use of proper grammar, if you don't know it. Dumbass.
