Christmastime in Amish Country - Shipshewana, Indiana

Christmas gets started early in the little town of Shipshewana, Indiana, which is surrounded by the third largest Amish community in the United States.
Shot during mid-November as the weather changed from 70 degree weather one day to a light snowfall two days later, the only way to describe it was magical! Amish traveling in their buggies or walking as the snow comes down. And the Christmas lights of central Shipshewana bringing the little business district to life with warmth of the season.
The Christmas tree was lit in early November and sits outside the Shipshewana Furniture Company in the center of town.
