Thank you for sharing your family with our family. I have a downs adult son. They get so excited about Christmas. My son surprised me with a blanket with poinsettias on it. I cried. They are one of my favorite flowers.

Merry Christmas - I still think it's a bit odd that I really am very interested in your videos. A family I don't even know. All I can say is that it's so nice to see a loving family where the emphasis isn't on the label inside your clothing, or what car you drive. That being said, when I was 17 my clothing labels mattered! LOL...Now literally 90% of material objects I buy are from thrift stores. All my furniture, tvs, beds (not the mattres), shoes, etc. So I very much enjoy your thrifting shows. And of course, like many fans, I'm enjoying the most recent videos of your working on your home. It's fun seeing the children over the years changing, developing and it's fun see mom & dad making their way through the world as well. When I was a child when my father was displeased with something I'd done, he always said: CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE. At the time I didn't realize what a deep statement that really was. Now I understand that so much of life is how you face it. Your attitude on how you're going to move forward in life is crucial. My glass is always half full 🙂 And your shows make it even fuller. Now if we can only get Elijah to talk a little more these days when he's on video! HA! Ho! Ho! Ho!

I had a choose your own adventure book as a kid that I 'borrowed' (read: said I'd give it back but never did and he never asked) and I LOVED that thing! I read it so many times because it was different each time I read it. I still remember so many story lines from that one book even though its been at leat 20 years since I've seen it.

Knowing what everyone is in to... and then all getting gifts custom to each person. For example, I guessed oh I bet Pearl gets Art Supplies, Elijah camera/editing accessories, Asher forging or building tools. And yes they all got things according to their own likes that they will all love. Each person well thought of with their gifts, but most of all the biggest gift is family and the love of our heavenly father. ❤️ May the upcoming year be blessed for you all and the house project go smoothly and timely for you!
