    This is INSANE! I can't even imagine building something this intricate, but now I REALLY want to lol. If this was in a store window people would look at it for hours. It's exactly how I always thought that Toy Store window displays should look when i was a kid. But now that I know how much work it would be, I understand why I've never seen something like this before 😊❤

    Thank you so much for taking your time writing this kind of wonderful comment. You exactly gave the words on how a expectator or a watcher when done watching the video or someone who watches the scene on a glass window in a toy store or a mall. The amount of sacrifice and patience done in this project was done out of love for Christmas. Since its my first ever Christmas village, and maybe the last to build, for i don’t how to start all over again, I don’t have the time again to do it. I had a wish to do it even just once in my lifetime, I can build something like this. Even me I glanced into it every now and then. When people praise the work done into it, it feels great and wanting me to do another one in the near future. Thank you so much! God bless you! 😇🎄

    Great artistic ideas I think I will use your black background technique for the stars in my next village. I did not do one this year due to Health issues. I was going to downsize my village but now you have inspired me to do it again. I think this is one of the Best Christmas Villages I have seen.

    This is by far one of the most beautiful and creative villages I have ever seen! Please don't stop sharing your creative process with us mere mortals! : ) I have a question...How did you hang the black foam board on the wall? I can imagine that with the lights behind the boards, they will not hang flat. I am excited to try it for my village! Thanks!

    I used small nails on them. We live in a apartment but I will fix later when we move. It needs to be sturdy and flat. So i used nails/screws.thank you for commenting! 🥰🌎💕🤩

    I am soooo impressed your village ! Yes, you’re super artistic dad. Fantastic !!! And I love it so much ! I’ve been watching your making video many times. Love your design, detail, what an artistic ! I also love train tunnel how you made it. I ‘ve been watching many Christmas villages from KZread. You are the one of very top villages. So beautiful and gorgeous ! I wish I could make it mine like yours. From this year I would love to challenge for background. QUESTION, I love your mountain rock wall background. It seems like you made of Papers ? Could you tell me how you made it ? Did you paint mountain and rock colors on big craft paper ? And fold many ways and did you make it the shape looks like a mountain or rock wall and hills ? If you could answered me, I very appreciate. Thank you so much in advance. I would love to see your village this year,too. Some of are making parts, I really appreciated for sharing your techniques, and I learned a lot from you, Thank you so much for sharing. 😊🙏✨. After I posted this comment, I found another person asked you the same question (about mountain paper) in comment below. Sorry ! Only one more question. I found my favorite rock face pic. Did you print it many pieces with regular letter size ? And cut it out white part, and did you glue pieces with tape or glue ? I only can print them out letter size with paper. Or did you make image bigger setting and print them ? Your rock mountain looks very giant and nice !

    Thank you so much for taking time to comment and ask question regarding the village. Yes the mountain is made of the easiest thing to do in decorating a village. I just search “Rock face” on google on my iphone, then I chose the one that I like and matches my entire village. then i used the letter paper or ordinary white bond paper for printing. I screenshot the image from google and edit it so it will fully occupy the ordinary short white paper size. then from my connected printer it will print it. after that I just crumple the paper and glued it to a cardboard with a triangle design (mountain size & looks that you like) I will make a video on this one to make it accessible to everyone. Thank you so much and goodluck in your village. cheers! 😇😍🥰

    @@artisticdad Thank you so much for your kindly reply. I got it. I found the rock face image from internet, and printed it out. I will probably copy some and cut them out white parts, and make them connect for letter size, and then I think I can copy them many pieces. Once again, thank you so so much for your kindness and reply. Please keep creating your imagination world. It is very FUN to watch your videos. Amazing !!! And I love to use recycle material, cardboard box or many other things. I am looking forward to see your Christmas village this year again ! Thanks a lot ! P.S. Now I am researching and purchasing Christmas trains, also. So fun and exciting !

    From Google. Search for “Rock face”, choose what image you like, print using regular while bond paper, cramped it attached to a cardboard with your desired mountain shape. Easier than styrofoam, no mess, no painting!, light and easy to do! Thank you for asking. I might create an actual video soon. thank you! 🤩❤️🎄

    This is a very helpful video. Awesome display. I like the idea of using different boxes etc for risers. Can you tell me which LED string lights you used? (brand etc), I tried so many different ones & can't find the bright white ones. Thank you.

    Thank you so much for the comment. I’m sorry when I bought the string plastic led lights on a liquidation store it was just wrap on a plastic with no box on it or brand name. I think they use this light for ceiling light purposes. I will get back to you as soon as I find a close related name for this item. 😇😍😊

    Love your village, thanks for posting the how to video, I had a question, when you Benites the mountains? How did you shape them? The look like the h there popping out or 3D? Did you put anything behind the paper ?

  • @artisticdad

    @artisticdad

    I cut a mountain shape out of cardboard that I desire. I glued some newspaper on the cardboard. Then I just crumpled the paper and glued them on top of the newspaper until it looks like a 3D mountain. I bet you, this is the easiest way to make a mountain. Not messy and no need to color them.
