This unique set of Christmas ornaments was made with the Steampunk enthusiast in mind. Whether you do your whole tree in a steampunk theme or you mix in some gears with a traditional style, these ornaments will definitely give your tree a unique look. The gears are made of firm leather and are hand painted antique brass. Included in the set are 1 of each gear that is shown. All of the gears come with brass hanging hooks. The gears do have a front and a back side. The back side is painted, but it does not look as clean as the front because the backside of leather is textured differently than the front side. The front is nice and smooth. The hooks are somewhat bendable (they are not flimsy though) so you may need to adjust the direction of the hook to have the front side of the gear facing outward from the tree. If you do choose to bend the hooks, we suggest bending very slowly so you do not distort the general shape. The gears range in size from 2.5 to 4 inches. These gears can be used for just about anything you can think of. You can add them to an existing project of yours, create a decorative wall display, or hang them from anything you can find! They do not have to be restricted to the Christmas Tree. Make it a Steampunk Christmas this year!
