The CP2000 ran until 2005, on the Sintra Line, in suburban services and became a national icon due to it’s stainless steel design. The original design is by Budd, an American rolling stock company.
Currently, some units destined for the National Railway Museum are preserved.

Rossio
Rossio station, inaugurated in 1890, was for many years the main railway station in Lisbon, with trains to almost every part of country and allowed transfers between suburban trains on the Sintra branch (currently Sintra Line) to long distance trains leading to the north of the country.
This station stands out for its Manueline architecture, large metallic marquise, and for the railway tunnel to Campolide.
// Accessibility
The station has two step-free accesses, one at Largo Duque de Cadaval, next to the restaurants, and the other at the top, at Calçada do Carmo, the first being the easiest and safest to use. There are no accesses without steps in front of the station.
There are elevators to access all floors of the station.
There is a wheelchair accessible gate.
