God Bless the Tater and Trace!!!!!!!! An apple an orange and a popcorn ball!! My Mother made the best popcorn balls for CHRISTMAS!! She and I made popcorn balls for the family a few years ago. BEST CHRISTMAS present ever!! A Christmas orange was such a DELIGHT even with seeds. Mr Dickins my you have an apple, an orange and a popcorn ball every Birthday of our Lord for eternity. Lill Jim, Trace growing up poor was very common !! Apples Oranges and popcorn balls no better CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!

It was such a honor to meet Mr.Dickens in Indiana last month. I got him to sign 3 things and he was so nice. It was the 3rd time I had saw him and he always puts on a great show! Happy Birthday!

WOW just found this!! Just epic! Such good listeners, both of them. My dad was born in the late 30s and he always had this funny story from Christmas eve. Tradition in his family was that Christmas did not go up until Christmas eve after he went to sleep, so from nothing, it was suddenly Christmas all over the house when he woke up. One Christmas eve night it was snowing hard. Dad's bedroom was on the first floor but he was out cold. His dad set up the whole village with the Lionel trains all over the room and around the tree. Dad's dad needed help that night because the transformer for the train set broke. He put on his coat and big rubber boots and went and got the neighbor to come fix it. All the noise woke up dad. Dad dared go in there, but he got on his knees and peeked under the door and sure enough, he saw big ole' black boots stompin' around the tree with snow on them. Needless to say, for years, dad genuinely thought he was an eyewitness to the real Mr. Santa! Treasure our elders ... they are so precious.
