I totally agree with you when it comes to the stability of the tree. Your Radko ornaments are too precious to put them on a flimsy tree. And no you were not being harsh with your review. Watching your holiday decorating has become a tradition for me. Just absolutely beautiful!

Not a harsh review--I would expect a pre-lit tree to not have visible & hanging wires on the exterior of the tree. That was the first thing I noticed when you started assembling the tree.

I always enjoy a lot every Year that you show your beautiful rasco's tree. And ceratainly having your son helping you was completely wonderful. I am your suscriber from probably ten or more years. You ara a shinning star dear Sofia

I love your Radko tree! I know that I say this every year! I don’t think that a skinny tree is enough for those very special ornaments! That tree you reviewed is worse than the $20 WalMart tree I bought a couple of years ago for my classroom. Thankful you gave an honest review on that tree. My granddaughter who is 16 months old would pull that over in a heartbeat.

I think you're going to need a bigger tree! Yes doing it a little earlier gives you more time to enjoy it!!!

Stunning ornaments! I love your joy in admiring each one and recalling the memories behind them. I want to share a product I love called Deco Mesh in the 6 inch width. One roll would be enough for that size tree. Cut sections, twist and secure the ends with wire. Apply it to the tree as you did with the ribbon. Just stuff it in! The mesh adds glitter and texture that would really complement your ornaments! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Loved the video-----did Scott do your Christmas intro so cute. Would love to have a Radio tree mainly because I LOVE snowmen. Waiting for the next Christmas video. By the way ---you were right to warn others about that tree, an accident waiting to happen!

No the graphics I have been using are plug ins from my Adobe premiere software. I am just learning how to use and tweak them.

I enjoy seeing you decorate for Christmas. As a child, it was a wonderful time, helping my mother decorate the tree. As a single adult I rarely put up a tree or decorate for the holidays. It is just too much trouble. My sister in law puts up 7 trees, starting before Thanksgiving.

Please let us know if the tree ppl see this and reply lol Maybe they don’t do that. I’m curious as to what they have to say for themselves. Thank you for your honest review 😊🎄

I love the fact that you are honest and tell it exactly as it is! That tree is probably made or at least assembled somewhere outside the states. It is junk! I like your completed tree very much. It is magical!

Your tree looks gorgeous. My baby tree goes up around 21st Dec and comes down about 3rd Jan. We have a very small lounge, and no dining room so I have a twiggy white tree, about 3 feet tall, with attached flower bulbs, no extra ornaments needed.

It’s our custom to keep Christmas decor up until January 6th, the Epiphany or Three Kings Day. 👍🏼🎄

I have that same tree and feel the same as you. What I did was put weights on tree stand to make it steady

Your Radko tree is beautiful! My first Christmas in 1952 my grandfather put wires on every ornament just like you have on your Radko ornaments and I still have some of those ornaments with those wires. In fact, I have most of those ornaments. Now, my ornaments are not Radko ornaments, but they are the old glass ornaments.

I’ve always had a real tree, for as long as I can remember, but I was tired of waiting until mid December to get it and half the time it wouldn’t even last until the New Year (even though I leave my tree up for the first week of January). So we bit the bullet and bought a pretty expensive pre-lit fake tree and I love it!!! I can put it up when I want and I can have it up for as long as I want! ❤🎄 And no, you weren’t too harsh; that tree was not good at all, unfortunately. Not worth risking your irreplaceable Radkos!

I bought a 5 ft white tree from Amazon last year. Not only wasn't it 5 ft. but it won't hold any ornament with even a bit of weight to it. Sooo, I bought one from Walmart online. Guess what, it's the same tree. Next year I will only buy one I can see in person. Love your Radko tree.

I'm getting older and keep. thinking of getting an artificial tree to make life easier but can't find one I'm happy with. I've had real trees for my entire 60 years so it's hard finding one that lives up to a real one. I was looking forward to seeing how this tree was. I can't believe they even sent it to you. You're right...that's an accident waiting to happen. Glad you posted this video. Your finished tree looks beautiful.

Hi Sophia!! Love rewatching your holiday videos every year. A couple of years ago I think I found an ornament that is a Christopher radko at a thrift store for 75 cents, but I'm not sure. Is there anyway on the ornament that I can look at and know for sure that it's a Christopher radko ornament?

Sophia- look for candy cane wired ribbon.

If you want a pencil tree (skinny tree), you might try Walmart. I bought one there a few years ago and it was much sturdier than the one you tried and it wasn’t very expensive.

Wow that tree was awful.. I bought one at Canadian Tire last year and I love it !! it is full & sturdy.. I was looking forward to see you decorate & hope I would get some new ideas!! Guess that didn’t work out🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Agree with you that tree should be put in the garbage it’s flimsy and cheap and shouldn’t be sold to anyone.

It's a shame the tree wasn't more solid. But from the base, to the screws to the sparse branches - it would take a lot to get it where you need for your precious ornaments. Last year we bought a Balsam Hill when it was on sale, they're expensive but it's so easy to put together. Just unzip, flip the top up and plug it in basically. lol

I think I’d give that tree a miss! (And that’s not even remotely how a pine tree has its branches!) Your usual tree looks perfect.

You also have to worry about Fiona trying to grab the ornaments and getting her claw tangled in the wire I had a pre lit tree I got rid of it due to my 2 parakeets chipper and Chico as birds and trees go together and I was afraid they may bite at the wire I even stopped putting out my mom's ceramic tree as it's over 30 years old and fragile as when I am home I let my parakeets fly around my living room so they can exercise their wings

For anybody without a locking tree stand If you loop a piece of wire around each leg in a square pattern it will hold the legs apart for stability, not that that would have helped the tree in the beginning of the video.

Oh that tree you reviewed IS bad. Definitely not around kids and pets. Enjoyed the Radio tree set up!

Have you considered maybe curly q ribbon instead of the brown burlap? It doesn't do your gorgeous tree justice..its like a sharply dressed person wearing tattered dirty tennis shoes with a 1000. Outfit.just my humble opinion..I have always looked forward to seeing your decorations.You usually hit it out of the park year after year

That totally looks like a dollar store tree! It looks totally cheap.

Radko tree came out gorgeous. Too bad the other tree was terrible quality and so unstable. I am of Italian decent and Catholic and always leave my Christmas tree and all my decorations up until after January 6th the Feast of the Epiphany. I have never heard of taking everything down before New Year’s Day. Why?
